Beaches & Cream vs. Hurricane Hanna's

We'll be staying at the Beach Club Villas and we love Beaches & Cream for lunch! However, I notice that the prices at Hurricane Hanna's by the pool are a bit cheaper. Do you get the same quality of food?? Can anyone compare the two for me?

We stayed at the yacht club the last week of may. Hurricane hanna's is a pool side food counter. they make wonderful frozen drinks. I didn't eat there. Beaches and cream is a small sitdown restaurant with tables inside and outside. They also have have a door for takeout. We did have burgers, milkshakes and ice cream from there and all were outstanding..

You asked if the quality was the same at hurricane hanna's. IMHO, I don't think it's anywhere near as good as Beaches and Cream. I loved the burgers at Beaches and Cream (YUMMY) and the one at Hurricane Hanna's is more like a "park" burger, if that makes any sense.

Yes, "park burger" makes perfect sense to me! I thought maybe we could avoid the lines and get the same quality, but I guess "you get what you pay for" holds true in this case. We'll stick with Beaches and Cream. We've occasionally had poor service there, but NEVER poor food!

I agree with the above posts. B&C may be a bit more expensive, but the quality is great and the ice cream is delicious. Do Hurricane Hannah's in a pinch, but make sure you have a meal at Beaches & Cream if you can. You won't be sorry!!

How limited is the take out menu for Beaches?

[COLOR=dark-blue]They have really good burgers (single or double) which you can get bacon and/or grilled onions on them. They also have a few other sandwiches like grilled prime rib, turkey, grilled chicken breasts, veggie burger and hot dogs. They have fries and onion rings and a Caesar salad.

However, I would recommend the burgers, they're very good. I just got back and I ate there last week. I had a cheese burger with grilled onions and onion rings. I shared fries and a sundae. It was excellant.[/COLOR]

you can order anything from the menu to go. There are no limits.
