By the way my husband loved the rueben. I got hamburger first night it was just ok. Got the French dip tonight and it was just so so. Tater tots were good and the ice cream and malts were outstanding!!!

Just ate there this afternoon and a few days ago. We didn’t feel we were too close to anyone. Not sure why others have felt uncomfortable. On our arrival night they were using the outside tables for service. There were probably four or five of them and waiter was serving them off the full menu. There were signs on those tables letting people know they could not just sit there as there are tables right in front if the take out window that people can sit at.
We were seated inside and did not ask how those patrons were seated outside BUT by far those outside tables are much more uncomfortable from the perspective of trying to make sure you’re not near others. The tables are in the walkway and there were tons of people on that walkway either walking to the pool (the main entrance is at that location) or waiting for their ADRs to “pop” up to sign in or simply waiting for the to go ice cream. I felt MUCH more comfortable inside.

Yeah, it’s relative to ones comfort and experience- for us it felt like too many people in too small a space without masks. Seeing the science on indoor airflow and how the circulation can really impact the spread, the tighter the space the less comfortable we felt.

Wow, really...I've never seen or even heard/seen reports (other than on this thread) that they had ever changed that. Well, it seems things have changed and I stand corrected. I feel like that would be kinda big news, so I'm surprised I haven't seen it reported elsewhere. So, were the tables still where they always are? - as in the waiters would have to "cross" the pathway...how did that impact traffic flow there? Very interesting.

Agreed we ate there twice in August and there were no servers nor option to sit at the outdoor tables. Those were for people waiting to be seated or getting to-go items from the window. If they changed this that would be great. We’ll be there next week so I’ll try to report back.

Yes please let us know. I’m sure people were being served there but we didn’t get an opportunity to go back another night to see. We didn’t see it at lunch time. Maybe just dinner but I’m sure because I saw people sitting with their drinks in the cups given inside and saw the waiters bring food out and clearing tables. I wondered if those patrons were just nervous and asked to sit outside but it was a Sunday night so it was busy. Sorry I wasn’t able to double check on our last night there.
