I think I read that we can walk to B&C from World Showcase in Epcot. Where do we find the walkway? How long a walk is it? Would 1:30 be an ok time (crowdwise) to head over for Lunch? Thanks!

The walkway leaves from International Gateway, which is near the United Kingdom. It is a short walk, maybe 15 to 20 minutes to Beaches n Cream at a leisurely pace. Very nice and enjoyable!

even at off times like 2:00ish for lunch??? I would rather not leave the park and have to wait an hour for a table. How long might the wait be for a table at this time?

You could get there and not have a wait at all, or there would be an hour for a wait. 2:00 isn't all that an off time for lunch, especially for those who've been lounging around SAB all day. Beaches and Cream is EXTREMELY small, there arr 4 or 5 booths and about 6 tables, that's it. So, even during an off-season, it can still be extremely crowded due to it's small size. I've walked in at 5:30 before and I've waited about 45 minutes at Noon, it's really luck of the draw.

Last month we didn't want to wait one night so we ordered at the To-Go window and there are tables on the patio out front that you can sit and eat at.

B&C actually give out beepers with a waitlist! Its that bad sometimes. I haven't walked in and sat down in years (unfortunately).

Hi CarolAnn ~ I found the walk from the WC to BC about 4 minutes.... and I walk slow LOL

I agree with the previous poster - it is probably only a 5 minute walk over to Beaches & Cream from Epcot. More like 15-20 if you're walking from MGM.

The wait time might also depend on what time of the year you'll be visiting. We were there in September & I think walked in between 2-3 pm & got a table immediately. By the time we left, it was packed full. We really enjoyed our meal here. HTH! :D

A different strategy you might want to try:

Arrive prior to their opening at 11:00. We arrived about 10:45 am and were the second party in the door when they opened. When we left there was a line waiting outside.

We were there 4 times in Dec, all between 2-3, and never had to wait at all. I was really surprised. It must have just been good timing, because they were always busy when we were there. We did have to eat at the counter the last time, or we would have had to wait for a table. We found out that we actually preferred to be at the counter.

Gotta try that "Kitchen Sink"...and maybe a "Lime Rickey"...and maybe a "Rolaids".

Whenwe stay there we go to the to-go counter then sit by the pool. Or head over by the lake. It does not take long from the counter.
