Beaches & Cream Closure - expanding?

What do you think? Finally making it larger and expand into the arcade?

Anything you would like to see change?

I just hope whatever they do doesn’t ruin the charm of the place.

Would be nice if they make it larger. I just, before seeing this, put in a TP resie finder search for B&C in March. Might be nice to get in there before it closes as who knows what they'll do to it (make it a character prix fixe meal for $50).

I’m hoping they just make it a tad bigger and maybe self serve soda option for refillable mugs on the takeout side. Be nice if they offered more food options, for a qs credit.

I was bummed to hear it would be closed until "sometime in December" since that's when we'll be there. But I would love to see it expanded! It's always a tough ADR to get. Where else is everyone going for their ice cream fix? Ample Hills? What's the opinions on The Fountain at the Swolphin?

Ample Hills is much better than Beaches and Cream for ice cream IMHO.

I agree, I was thinking a rapid refill station would be great. I also hope there is a better system for the to-go "window." It can get very crowded in there and its kinda awkward to wait in line to order on the right and congregate on the left.

I hope it does not lose the real syrups with sodas, juke box, flashing lights when a kitchen sink is ordered, and the overall charm. I also wonder if the kitchen area will be moved back stage.

The last day you can make reservations for Beaches nd Cream is Aug 5. We just booked our Aug dining this morning and luckily was able to snag a reservation on Aug 4th.

I really hope they make it bigger! It's always packed and people are always struggling to make reservations. I'm sure they would make more money expanding it into the arcade than they do on the arcade!

We were there two weeks ago and like everyone else, thought, it is time for that arcade to go!
Glad it is expanding but hope it doesn't lose what makes it so much fun!

That would be nice, I hadn't thought of that. Although it would ruin my daily exercise walking over to hurricane Hannah's for that! Plus it would reduce the responsibilities of the to-go window workers a bit, close the loophole using last trip's mugs, and keep them from having to waste a paper cup every time.

I'd like to see them return to circa-2010 food quality. The burgers and fries they serve now are pretty tasteless compared to what once was. That's probably too big of an ask, though.

They really need to make the take out section bigger too. Last time we were there we waited almost 45 minutes from when we walked up to when we got our ice cream! And it is waaay too crowded in that tiny space.
