Beaches at Aulani

I've read that the water at the beach at Aulani is calm, no waves. Is there a beach within walking distance where we can relax and enjoy watching waves?

Not sure about walking distance as we did not really explore very far on foot. However, MILES AND MILES of virtually deserted and beautiful beaches right up the road on HWY 93. A beautiful drive and I highly recommend it.
The ten mile stretch from Ko Olina to the end of the road at Yokohama Beach have many absolute gems to chose from. And you won't find any crowds.

I agree! We took a lunch with us and ate on a deserted beach....also took many family photos using a tripod.
