Looks like we are going to stay at BC this trip! Just wondering if Beaches and Cream is a place that you would make an ADR for or is it walk up? Any reviews and recommendations would be appreciated. Did you go for just ice cream or burgers etc? Who has ordered the Kitchen Sink?

They don't take ADRs at all, you have to walk up. As noted in the previous post it is a VERY small restaurant. It's recommended to go when they first open.

If you click on the link for our September dining review in my signature we have a full write up on B&C with plenty of photos. :)

I know that this restaurant is a walk up and sorry to jump in on the thread...but why don't they take reservations for this restaurant??? I have always wanted to ask...

probably because it is so small. :confused3
cant remember exactly but i think theres only around 15 tables in there, if that.

Weve tried the kitchen sink, it was fun to order but we hardly ate it. My husband is the one with the sweet tooth, it was just too sweet for me.
we had a lovely meal there and i cant wait to go again. :thumbsup2

We go there every trip. LOVE the burgers there. The cook told us the secret is they butter the bun and then send it through the toaster and that's what makes the burger. We always go at an off time. Like we'll get there right as they open or we'll go at like 2pm or around 4:30pm or maybe 7pm. This last time we didn't get there until 5:15 and there was an hour wait..we waited anyway..those burgers are THE best.

thanks so much for the respose...we are in need of another disney trip...no yet planned but I am creating a list of all the things I want to do next time

We went there for the first time in December (we were staying at BC so it was very easy to go to). My DH fell in love with the burgers so we had to go back 2 more times after that. The girls and I, on the other hand, had ice cream. I had the No Way Jose (which is my favorite ice cream sundae now) and the girls each had a Mickey Mouse ice cream sundae :goodvibes. We are going back to Disney in March and even though we are staying at POFQ, we are going to make a point of it to go back to B&C for lunch and ice cream. Also, when we go there, we never sit at a table or booth, we always sit up at the counter....there is less of a wait for it, plus we love talking with the waitstaff....they are very funny and very interesting people to talk to.

we are going for lunch on day
I am thinking no way jose's for lunch
ice cream= dairy
the peanut butter= protein
the cherry = fruits and veggies
and if i get a cookie on the side= grains

a balanced meal:lmao:

We love Beaches and Cream!:cool1: We go every trip. As someone else said we always go at off times. Generally for a late lunch after a morning at EPCOT. I always have the roast beef sandwich and I really enjoy it. The ice cream is wonderful too! Have fun.

Because it is super small...a few tables and counter seating is all.Waits can be ridiculous too..over an hour at times. This place is popular they need to expand it somehow

If you're staying at BC - what we did while at the YC is: around noon, I go put our name on the list, let the kids still swim....knowing its an hour wait, about 20 minutes prior to that hour being over, I get the kids from the pool, dry them up, put on their "cover ups" and voila.....its lunch time.

What would off times be? I'm staying at BC in May and I'd love to go here for lunch one day...

Yes, it is on the dining plan as a Table Service restaurant.

If you aren't on the DxDP, I don't think using a TS credit is worth it for Beaches and Cream. Its very inexpensive compared to other TS places. Better to save your credit and get a better value for it! We just pay cash here.

This is definitely one of our favorite places and we've never stayed at the BC/YC! On the last trip, we went there on our Epcot day. We headed over the bridge and got there about 10:50 or so (they open at 11.) The hostess said they were almost open and said she would check to make sure they were ready for us. She then took us in- the lights were flashing and the wait staff was cheering! We were B&C Family of the Day! So...might be a good time to go :-) We got a table cloth, cloth napkins, confetti, toys, etc. It definitely made our day.

I LOVE the onion rings and just the overall atmosphere. DH loves their burgers but last time got a double- and couldn't eat 1/2 of it. They're huge!

All of the sundaes are huge and yummy...so are the milkshakes. DH wants to try the Kitchen Sink, but I really don't care for all of the ice cream flavors and toppings together...I just like my chocolate. I'd probably never even eat through the whipped cream before getting sick.

Enjoy!

We have generally gone for a late lunch between 2:00-3:00 and have walked in and been seated immediately or within 15 minutes.

They have pretty big burgers here and you won't be left full after eating one with some fries. I would go mostly for the ice cream, though.

It is on the DDP as 1 TS per person. You'll get your entree and then you can chose from the delicious sundaes and other deserts. We pay OOP, however, because it's pretty cheap (comparable to other Disney restaurants) to begin with.
