Beaches and Cream?

I am planning to go to Beaches and Cream on our DHS morning EMH day. We plan to be at DHS at 8:00 am for EMH and then we would take the boat over to the Beach Club to enjoy lunch at Beaches and Cream. What time do they start serving lunch at Beaches and Cream? What time should we leave DHS to take the boat over to the Beach Club to get there as close to opening as possible. I know we can walk but my DH is having back issues and I think he would be better taking the boat.

The boat takes FOREVER! I believe Beaches & Cream opens at 11 (someone will correct me if I'm wrong) and I would get there right when they open if you don't want to wait for a year. We always walk, just because the one time we used the boat it was hot and miserable and long, so someone with experience there will tell you what time you should plan to get on it.

The boat (travel time only, not wait time) takes a full half hour to make the whole trip from DHS to Epcot International Gateway. Yacht/Beach is the second stop after Swan/Dolphin. I'd allow about 20 minutes just for the boat ride and walking from the dock to the restaurant.
