So I have found the pictures of all Beaches and Cream yummy desserts and of course we want to go.

My question is for those of you who have been before. It is my understanding you can't make ADRs so what is the wait like? We are arriving on a Friday and thinking of doing dinner there around 7 p.m. after going to AK. We are a group of 7 with 3 kids (ages 9, 7 & 4) so waiting an hour to get seated is probably not an option for us, especially because we will be up at 4 a.m. to get to the airport to leave for MCO. Should we avoid B & C on weekends and maybe just for dessert during the week.

I would love some advice.

Thanks

Beaches 'n Cream can have a long wait. Last trip, we tried on a Friday around 6:30 and it was going to be a two hour wait for three of us. It's a pretty small restaurant so it fills up quickly. Trying to do a meal at the prime dinner time can be a big problem. Maybe move dinner back a bit to a less usual time? Or the idea of doing it at a quiet time during the week is probably a good bet for your party size. It's definitely worth the wait to be honest but with that many people, I could see how you wouldn't want to. There is an arcade in the area and a lot of things within walking distance like shops and son on so if you think you could kill some time doing those things, the wait might not be so bad.

Hi,

My best advice is to get there when they open (11AM) or some time in the mid-afternoon (unless there is a thunderstorm; then EVERYONE runs over there from Stormalong Bay!).

When are you going. If it's early may, you may do alright. I tend to avoid it during the packed summer. It's one of our favorites and the desserts are delicious but you will definitely have an hour wait or more if the resort is crowded. I wish they would get rid of the arcade next door and expand the place.

Go early!! This is probably my favorite place of Disney okay well on top of my list that is.

Great old fashioned hamburgers,(cheese) sodas, you name it they seem to have got it.

I agree with everyone else. We've stayed at BC/YC/BWI several times and Friday and Saturday nights are normally pretty long waits in any Epcot resort restaurant. We have grown accustomed to eating a meal at B&C right at opening around 11:00ish. Sometimes we get lucky at an odd time, like 3:00. If we want ice cream, then we'll do the take-out later at night and eat in a table by the pool.

They do have a walk-up counter where you can order food, however you will have to take it outside to eat it. We went in June of last year and tried to get a seat for our nightly ice cream treat, however the wait was 2 hours long :scared1: so we went to the walk up counter and had our treats outside. It actually didn't turn out bad because we got to take in the sites and sounds of the BW while eating.

two words for ya. kitchen sink.:lovestruc great place to relax and enjoy with your family and friends

Have a backup plan. Try it, see what the wait is and have a backup plan if the wait is too long.

You can go over to the BW, they have a hot dog 'stand', ESPN club. YC has the Captains Grill.

The only takout that is available from B&C is a very limited ice cream menu. It DOES NOT include their full menu.

Another factor is when other parks close. If HDS closes at 7, there will be an influx of folks from there shortly after.

Happy planning!

Another vote for Beaches and Cream - I love it there! But I would think that finding space for 7 people will be a challenge. It is a pretty small place and a group of 7 would likely fill the entire center part of the restaurant (free-standing talbes). Note that the right side of the restaurant is the counter with seating and the left side has a few booths (only 4 person booths).

But definitely try it out - you may just want to have a backup plan pre-arranged.

We've never had to wait too long, the longest wait probably being 15 minutes. That was in May.

We're going in Sept. also and have never tried B&C. I'd like to walk over from Epcot.

Is mid-week around 4:30 - 5:00 very crowded?

We always go around 3-4 and usually there is a 10 minute wait but we only have 2 people and sit at the bar. I've seen the wait being as long as 1-2 hours especially for the tables.

The take-out area is only limited ice cream and milkshakes. No food.

That is what we want and I have read you can't get the Kitchen Sink to go

Nope, there is no way to transport it.

B&C is not popular with the free dining folks:banana: because the prices are less than most TS places, more in line with CS.

it is so hard to judge busy times, 7 can fit at 2 of the center tables. I am not a booth fan, they have the booths where you sink in and your chin rests on the table.

The little tables also have 2 sizes, there is mini and mincromini:lmao:

The minimees are good for 2 the larger CAN do 4
