Beaches and cream?

I moved this over to the Restaurant Board from the Dining Reviews Board. You will get a much better response here.

Depending on when you go to B&C and when Iluminations ends, will depend on your experience. If you try to get in at 9:30, it will be quite crowded usually. Weekends more so than weekdays. Also depends on what time other parks close. (If MGM closes at 7, by 7:30 B&C will have a crowd)

If I'm not mistaken he's wondering about times a little later than that (depends on your definition of "late night," I suppose). According to the hours listed online, it's open until 11.00 every night. I can't speak to whether it's hard or not, though, sorry.
:donald:

If you're thinking of "late" as anything after Illuminations, you'll be fighting with about a thousand other people. I asked the CMs at B&C once "Do you get many people after Illuminations?" They laughed and told me that it seems to be a race as to who can get there soonest. I've made the mistake of going twice after Illuminations, and left both times because waits were well over 45 minutes.

i would think that with the number of people waiting in the park to see Illuminations, if you go a little before or even during Illuminations, you'd have less of a wait then if you went right after. That'd be my best guess  if you don't want to wait around in long lines...

If there's a long line, take a walk to burn off the calories you are about to consume, because B&C is worth every bit!!!!

Just one CRITICAL thing about going late to Beaches & Cream, at least from the experience we had in October 2006. When we went there shortly before 11pm, we passed several cast members and were able, without anyone saying a word to us, to enter the take-out side. In front of us were 2 young (teenage, at a guess) girls who were being served by a CM (male, age 18-21 at a guess). He made their order, all the while we were standing right behind them (& should have been EASILY visible, after all, it wasn't like my wife & I are 3 ft tall!).

Unfortunately, after he served them & collected their payment, he turned to us and told us "We're closed" and refused to serve us.:faint: Needless to say, we were VERY unhappy about this and discussed this with the front desk at the Beach Club. They agreed wholeheartedly that this was NOT how they felt that we should have been treated, and did what they could to make things "right".

Still, I would say that the take-home message is, give yourself a MINIMUM of 15 minutes before closing time to order, so you don't end up in a similar situation.

Enjoy the Magic, all the same!

B&C seems to always be crowded any more....any time of day. I think you will just need to go with the mindset of waiting for a little bit whenever you go.

I agree.
