I am 2 days out and I just realized that I didn't make an ADR for our first night, everything else i did but that night for some reason :scared1:
Anyway I was thinking of going over to Beaches and Cream and wondered how long of a wait we might have on a Sunday night with no ADR's (june 3)?

Well it is hard to say how long the wait will be.. but it is worth it... love the No Way Jose and the burgers..

Beaches and Cream doesn't do ADRs. Everyone will be in the same boat...Walk up and wait for a table. We were there in January (New Year's week) and April. In January we waited 20 minutes for a table of 5. In April we waited less than 15 for a table for 3. IMO, your best bet is going early for dinner (before 5:00) or later (after 8:00).

Hope this helps. Enjoy!

Wow thanks for the info . I had no idea that Beaches and Cream didn't do ADR's. Makes me a little less worried about being able to eat there .
The menu does sound yummy esp all the sundae type desserts ... yummmmm

My Mom and I have made it a tradition to eat at B&C on our arrival nights. Try to go during an off time, and you'll be fine!

I recommend the cheeseburgers, onions rings and No Way Jose sundae!! :lovestruc

We were there last week and the wait was 75 min to eat in. Does anyone know when they stopped allowing hot food in the take out line? They only allow ice cream now. I know for a fact we got hot take out once and ate on the tables outside.

We've never waited more than 20 minutes for a table at Beaches and Cream...and if you are willing to eat at the counter that increases your chances of sitting down quickly. They don't do ADR's I don't believe. You'll love this place. Burgers are good, and the ice cream treats are to die for!

I would allow at least an hour. Of course, if you want to sit at the counter, then you may get in sooner. We tried to wait last year but after 45 minutes, we gave up. We needed a highchair, so we couldn't do the counter. If you want the counter, remember to mention it to the CM, lots of folks want to wait for a table or booth. this is a VERY small place.

We were there 2 weeks ago and went at a offpeak time and only had to wait 5-10 minutes for a table.

Is this right on the Boardwalk ??
and are they open from breakfast thru to dinner >>

thanks !

Beaches and Cream is over at the Beach Club off the veranda between the Cape May restaurant and the game room.

I don't think they do breakfast, but I could be wrong!

Just an added tip, the sundaes are absolutely HUGE. Its splittable easily with two people, its a tradition with me and my oldest son to split the no way. LOVE it!!!!

Another place where you can often get in without ADRs is Yacht Club Galley. DS went there and said it's really great, a "hidden gem" he called it.

maybe try to go a little before or a little after the dinner rush. I think it just depends. This is one of our favorite places and sometimes have no wait while others we wait 30 minutes.

It is worth the wait though ! We love their burgers and ice cream !

Don't worry about the wait, you will enjoy it there.

No breakfast at B&C. It's by the pool for YC & BC, on the walkway between the two resorts.

It's been at least 2 years since they allowed you to order hot food in the takeout line.

Definitely try for off-peak times since your wait will be less. I also agree that the YC Galley is a hidden gem! Very quiet, hardly ever a wait, and they also have a great breakfast buffet!

Went to B&C a couple of weeks ago (non-busy season) and the wait was 90 minutes at about 6:00pm. The take out line only has a few selections of the ice cream, and no hot food. The take-out line appeared short, but it took almost 30 minutes to get our ice cream in the take out line. Either go early, go late, or prepare to wait a bit. It's worth it though!

I agree with others who have posted to go off hours. Last time we were there, we arrived for lunch at 10 before noon and were seated immediately. By 12:30, it was mobbed. We've also had early dinners (4pm) with no wait. Sometimes we do this with a light meal and then snack in the parks.
