I was wondering about beaches and cream.I read on another board that their burgers are the best in wdw.true or not?and do you need adrs for this place.I am trying to find somewhere to eat in the boardwalk area.thanks forany advice you can offer.you guys seem to be up on most things in wdw.:)

Unless things have changed, Beaches N Cream does not take ADR, so you will have a wait.

I wasn't too thrilled when DH and I went a couple of years ago. He had a burger and I don't remember him gushing about it, so it was probably just okay. I think I had a turkey sandwich.

For dessert he had the Milky Way Sundae, which he loved, and I had Fudge Mud Slide, which was great as well, although we could have gotten by with splitting one.

I probably would go back again, however I think most people go for the desserts rather than the actual food.

Beaches n Cream does not take ADRs. It is very, very small. I would suggest going at an "off" time to eat to keep from waiting a very long time for a table. In my experience WDW doesn't have a "great" burger on property. Of course, that is also a reflection on the type of burgers I am able to get at home. We have two or three really great pubs by us that make fantastic, hand-made, cooked to order delicious burgers. I have never found a burger like that at WDW. To further put my opinion in perspective, I don't find burgers at Chilis or other "chain" table service places to be great either.

So, I guess the question I would ask you is: Are you expecting a great burger or just one on the better list of those available at wdw? The burgers at B&C taste similar to those that you can get at a boardwalk (think frozen patties slapped onto a stainless steel grill) or a carnival. They aren't terrible but they aren't great. JMO many on here feel differently.

We ate at B&C within the last twelve months - we had cheese fries and ice cream sundaes - i had the No Way Jose (made with Edy's type ice cream - not homemade) - we liked it but our expectations were in line with what we were going to be served.

If you want something fancier in that area, I suggest Flying Fish.

Beaches & Cream has great burgers- I'd say the best on property. I would also suggest going at an off time for a shorter wait. I am a fan of the no way jose sundae, which is peanut butter and fudgy good!
I'd also recommend Spoodles for a different Boardwalk restaurant. They have a neat selection. I also enjoyed Flying Fish, but I do feel that it's overpriced for what you get...

B&C does have surprisingly good burgers, but if you go at a normal meal time, it can be quite a wait.

My BW area recommmendation would be Big River Grille. A lot of people don't like this place, but I go at least once every trip and love it. Pretty good food (including a good burger), good service and a nice selection of beers.

BW place to avoid? ESPN Club. I just cannot stand that place.

We ate at Beaches and Cream last July while staying at the BC. We thought it was just O.K., about the same as anywhere else on property. The onion rings were pretty good, though. I would just go for ice cream the next time. Not worth the price for what we got.

My brother lives an hour away from WDW, so whenever I visit WDW - he likes to come over to have lunch with me at Beaches and Cream. I think their burgers are very good, as are the onion rings. My brother loves their chocolate milkshakes. I'm always too full to get dessert.

The burgers at Le Cellier and Concourse Steakhouse are better that at Beaches and Cream. Market Street Cafe in Celebration has great burgers if you are in the area!

Last time I was there I had a steak sandwich and it was very Yummy!!! Our wait was about 45 minutes but the arcade next door kept the kids entertained. I would personally stay away from the Kitchen Sink while it is fun to get- it gets kind of gross with all stuff mixed in and when it melts that a whole other story:eek: . However the No Way Jose’ is absolutely delicious. I hope you have a great trip!!!

We usually arrive just before they open at 11:00 a.m. for lunch. If you arrive much later you WILL wait!

If B&C has the best burgers on property, it is simply a comment on the sad, sad state of burgers at WDW. These are not exactly "steakhouse burgers." They aren't even good pub burgers.
