Looking through the menus on Allearsnet.com, I saw that Beaches and Cream has a dessert named "The Kitchen Sink". The dessert includes a scoop of each kind of their ice cream drenched in all their toppings. It costs something like $23.99. Is it even possible for one person to eat the whole thing? Just wondering if it is worth the challenge...

Sorry to those of you who find this question disguisting! I know that is a lot of ice cream/toppings!!!

I've seen people order the kitchen sink - and it is a lot of ice cream!!! We've never been around long enough to see if they've finished it all though! It is A LOT of ice cream!
Don't think I could do it! They do a cute presentation for it though!

The Kitchen Sink is a "group thing"
We had one (2 adults, 2 kids), and could not finish it, but it sure was fun trying!!:thumbsup2

I've seen people order it...it's HUGE. I'd explode if I tried to eat one :lmao:

We ordered one on our last Thanksgiving trip... it is HUGE. We had five adults and barely finished it. I have some pics in my trip report... its at www.jeffreyandjennifer.com

I believe it has 2 scoops of every flavor, maybe 16 scoops of ice cream? Choc, Vanilla, strawberry, mint choc chip, mocha and some other flavors. Toppings include mini milky way bars, brownies, cherries, cookies, cake pieces, and an entire can of whipped cream.

I found out something new though, they will give you the kitchen sink for free if one person can eat the entire thing in one hour. I'm sure it can be done, but I wouldn't want to try it!

We were at the Boardwalk meeting up with 4 friends who actually live in Florida and they took us out to eat and they kept saying how for dessert they had a surprise but it was something really small.
So they take us to Beaches & Cream after dinner and its our first time at B&C and they order the kitchen sink and we're like whats that? Next thing I know, Beaches & Cream is making a big deal out of it, flipping the lights on and off saying something about someone ordered the kitchen sink and they bring it to us and its HUGE.
6 people couldn't finish it.
But, it was good.

It makes a great picture!!!

Hey, you can always have the No Way Jose if you want something smaller. But I can't even mention that without getting misty. Ah, how I love my No Way Jose.

The 5 people in our group could not eat one!! Its huge!!! Here's a picture of our DS 7 when we where there in June 2006, they let him go behind the counter and help make our Kitchen Sink, it was one of the high lights of our trip. He talked about it for days.

I was just there in December ~ we ordered it for 3 people and we didn't even put a dent in it

when we were there last september...we ordered 2 for 8 of us...that was our lunch. we almost finished them.....almost.....well, kinda.....ok, there was alot left :teeth:
but we would definately do it again!!!

Has anyone been to the Fountain (inside the Dolphin resort) recently? They used to have something that I believe was called the Dolphin Splash that was very similar to the Kitchen Sink that included ten different kinds of ice cream plus all the toppings for about half the price.

only ever seen others eat it, its huge, and since theres only me and DW not good for us

Last August my DH, DD, DD's friend and I finished off a Kitchen Sink. The July before, we had 6 adults and 4 children and ate 2 Kitchen Sinks. Actually, for a crowd, getting the Kitchen Sink is less expensive than everybody getting their own Sundae.
