Beaches and Cream - What do you think?

I know many people love this place....But we did not like the service--we were there at a time that was not busy at all--yet we waited and waited for our waitress; She was not happy when she saw our vouchers (this place was the only reason why I bought them--). She told us they were out of The Prime Rib sandwich, though we saw others coming out of the kitchen. Our food was ok--nothing spectacular. We also thought the ice cream was no!!!! where near as good as Ghirardelli in DTD. We will definately not be eating there again. There are so many good places, I would rather get counter service in the parks than eat there.

Sorry

We ate at Beaches and Cream over the Thanksgiving Holidays, not once but twice and my family still talks about this place. I would love to try the Kitchen Sink on our next trip.

We have gone to B & C the last four times at WDW. Even ate there 4 times in one week. One time with out Q & C vouchers. Never really realized how experience it was until I had to actually pay for it.

The burgers are big enough for two, and the dessert are wonderful. The only complaint that I have is it gets very cramped. We are a family of five and ahve learned to request a booth. They try to put us at one of those little tables all the time.

Meal vouchers are part of vacation packages. You have a specified number depending on your package and you can use them at specific restaurants.

B&C is one our faves. The food is good and we love the free jukbox.

We ate there on Sunday, April 4 adn got there around 11:30 and had no wait for a party of 6. We used 3 vouchers and bought 1 kids meal. The waitress didn't seem to mind at all about the vouchers. The food was excellent and fast, we even had leftovers. The icecream was fabulous. We'll definately go back!

You can get better burgers on site, but you'll pay several dollars more for them. B&C is a lot of fun and a relatively good value.

The seating is: 4 booths (4 each), 4 tables (4 chairs each), 1 small table (2 chairs), 15 counter stools.

B&C makes the best burgers on WDW property (IMHO) with maybe ESPN Club coming in second. I was told they make their hamburger buns fresh and they are very tasty! Good onion rings too.
We have been there many times, sat in booths, sat at the counter. Had good service with no problems. But it's true that you really have to time it right. I would never wait more than 10-15 min.
I think it's a charming little place and alot of fun.

thanks for all the input. after reading your replies i am definitely going to look into buying vouchers for our upcoming trip in sept. we are a family of 5 and will be taking my nephew along this time so i am sure they will be a good way for us to go.

Lots of good information about B&C! We are staying at the BCV in May and were planning to visit there, but now we will make more of an effort! Thanks!

Be prepared for a long wait --go early. I don't think the takeout line is for everything-I think it was just for ice cream.

We went in December, and weren't impressed. I had a better chicken sandwich at the Plaza Restaurant in the MK, and better sundaes at Ghirardelli. My husband's sandwich (I think he got the prime rib) was average, and the service was impersonal. On the bright side, we had no wait for a table (went around 3PM), and the sundaes were very large.
