:wizard: Does anyone know what you can order at the B&C take out window? We are hoping to get sundaes (No Way Jose!!) and not sure if you can order that to go. Right now there are no ADRs for any of the days we want to go so are hoping to grab our sundaes at the take out window.
Thanks!!

Not sure if you can get sundaes. I know you cannot order the Kitchen Sink from the window.

You can order the kitchen sink in a souvenir type sink which you would keep. They are quite pricey but my kids do like to play with the sinks at home and we have made the dessert at home using them.

This is not really the kitchen sink. They introduced a smaller version that is served in a plastic replica of Mickey's shorts. It is also available at the Plaza ice cream shop at the MK.
B & C take out window is a limited menu. I think they offer a sundae or two - but I am not positive.

You unfortunately can't get the No Way Jose from the takeout window. As Hopefully mentions, they have basic ice cream, milkshakes, and some basic hot fudge sundaes. They also have a smaller sized version of the Kitchen Sink. That's it. You can make an ADR to get a big sundae inside, without ordering food.

If you can't get an ADR to get No Way Jose, I would highly recommend going over to the Boardwalk and getting a sundae at the new Ample Hills. The ice cream there is so, so much better than Beaches and Cream!

Thanks for that tip. I cannot seem to get ADRs for B&C...Living less than 3 hours away, I don't always know 180 days out when I will be going. I sure miss the days of going and just being able to walk up

I'm not 100% sure about the No Way Jose, but we were able to get the Milky Way Sundae from the takeout window in February.

Last May you could get a No Way Jose at the takeout window. I am interested in trying Ample Hills as well but if you love that peanut butter and chocolate combo as much as I do, it's worth walking by B&C to check it out. At least you'd be near Ample Hills if it didn't work out.

When we were there in October, the specialty sundaes were not on the takeout window menu. Perhaps if you ask for one, they will do it? Maybe that's how PPs were able to get them?

You can also try your luck as a walk-up to the restaurant side. If you're willing to sit at the counter, it's first come first served and there were always at least 3-4 seats at the counter open when we ate there around noon in October. I'd imagine right at opening and after the lunch hour would be the best times for that without a wait.

Yeah, they wouldn't do it when we were there. Have you checked out Ghiardelli's sundae menu?

I second the Ghiradelli sundae menu. It's a good alternative. However, I heard a while back that they no longer sell any peanut products including peanut butter. They used to have the Gold Rush sundae which was a smaller (but good!) sundae similar to the No Way Jose, but I'm not sure if that's been eliminated. It still shows on the web site. Can anyone confirm?

Kind of depends on when you're there and who is working, I think. We've been before when the walk-up line would only do the walk-up menu, and we've been there when they would make us any ice cream item on their regular menu. I've been frustrated with how hard it is to get ADRs there lately, too.

It was pretty busy when we went, line to door. (even tho theres not really a lot of room there, lol). It was 2 different evenings on a hot August night.

Whether you can get the sundaes such as the No Way Jose at the walk up window seems to depend on how busy the TS side of the restaurant is. They will often make them if it isn't too busy. There are some seats at the counter which are usually available for walk up, so you could ask to be seated there if you don't have a reservation. However, sometimes when it is very busy, they will even ask parties with reservations if they want to sit at the counter.

I wouldn't waste time at Beaches and Cream now that Ample Hills is open. Beaches and Cream is reportedly Edy's (mediocre) ice cream that's overhyped.

Ample Hills has a peanut butter ice cream for which I've seen at least one good review. And you can design your own sundaes.

We've never eaten a meal at B&C, but go every trip for banana splits. We just walk up and wait for a counter seat to be available - usually not too long a wait.

Does Ample Hills have indoor seating?
