OK, I've seen a lot of chatter on the Kitchen Sink. I'd like to here any reviews of any sundae people have ordered. Do you have any pics?

For example, do you think the "sink" is worth it? Do the flavors and sauces just mix together too much? Worth the price? Eaters too picky to agree on all the stuff?

Do you prefer another sundae? I've heard some :thumbsup2 for the No Way Jose. (And have come across a pic too!)

Any reviews would be great! Thx

I think the Kitchen Sink is gross. After a few minutes it looks like a mud pit. I would need 8 people to share it with.

I prefer the No Way Jose with chocolate ice cream and hot fudge and peanut butter sauce. It's still pretty huge and shareable for a couple people.:cloud9:

I think of the Kitchen Sink as a novelty. I could see a bunch of kids sharing it but there's no way I'm sticking my spoon into that mess.

The other sundaes are okay but I don't think any of them are worth a special trip to B&C or a wait in line. When we go in the off season and if we can get in without a wait, my husband and I will split a No Way Jose.

We've never done the Kitchen Sink but we have ordered other sundaes. My favorite is the No Way Jose. It is vanilla and chocolate ice cream with hot fudge and melted peanut butter. It is by far the be IMO. The Fudge Mudslide is OK. It's just a brownie with vanilla ice cream and hot fudge sauce. I think maybe it has oreos on top. It was good but prefer the Jose, DK loved this one though. I don't think any of us cared for the Milky Way sundae. It had some weird muffin thing in it that was supposed to be a bundt cake but to me it tasted like some kind of oat bran muffin with nuts.

I've had the Kitchen Sink several times, and did find it FUN, but it is SOOO much, and has a couple of things that just aren't my favorites... If you want to do something memorable, go with the Kitchen Sink, but the No Way Jose is super delicious!

I agree, the Kitchen Sink looks disgusting after awhile, plus my party would never eat all of it so it would be a big waist of money for us, so we avoid getting it.

My favorite sundae in all of WDW is the No Way Jose Sundae that was described above. It is so good, especially if you like chocolate and peanut butter, which are two of my favorite things put together along side Mint Chocolate chip ice cream and hot fudge

Thanks for some feedback! Uhh, can you tell I'm an ice cream freak? I'm already scoping out my sundaes. (Or maybe I should say "scooping" out my sundaes.)

This is the problem, isn't it? I'm sure we'll want the memory and experience. But of course want to make sure what we pay for is something we'll enjoy.

Oooh, so many votes for the NWJ. Too bad about the Milky Way. Sounded interesting. But I think I'll pass. Of course it looks like folks can always create their own sundae.

See, what people say about the KS looking like a mess is what I was afraid of. That it would taste like a melted mixture of all the flavors, with no distinct taste after 5 minutes.

Yes, the Kitchen Sink does get kinda gross after a while, but if you happen to love ice cream, like I do, you'll still enjoy it.
But here's a picture of the most excellent sundae of all, the No Way Jose-

Brownie a la mode. I loved it. My nephew loved it. The brownie was good -- not like the yucky brownies you sometimes get with ice cream.

I second the brownie alamode. It is enough for two, maybe even three people. And I love that they use vanilla bean ice cream. Normally, I prefer my brownies warm and chewy when served with ice cream. When we had it, the brownie was sturdier (but still moist) than I am used to. BUT, the texture was a good thing, because it really helped when trying to layer the ice cream and fudge and whipped topping into your mouth.

Here is my family enjoying the brownie ala mode:

It is not the super gargantuan sundaes that they are known for. But I give it a hearty :thumbsup2

I am a purist, give me a banana split :banana::banana:

The kitchen sink is neat, but I am in the I think it is gross column. I watched a mother and son one time, first thing Mom did was pull off all the cookies and cake and candy and put it in a ziplocl bag. :lmao: Obviously not her first Kitchen sink!

No Way Jose! I ate a whole one back in May. That's probably it for the year.

The Kitchen Sink makes me ill, all that crap mixed together and melting. :scared:

That is REALLY funny. Who needs snack credits.

I have had only the hot fudge sundae with vanilla ice cream, usually from take-out since the wait for a table is usually long when we get there. The hot fudge and whipped cream are excellent. :goodvibes The ice cream is Edy's and is pretty good, but nothing specila. As far as I can tell, it is identical to the one at the BW ice cream shop, Seashore Sweets, but maybe smaller. ;) I always have at least one hot fudge sundae while on vacation. :)

Ohh.. that's interesting info. Is the Seashore Sweets crowded like B&C?

And thanks for the pics of the ice cream sundaes, everyone. Fun!

Seashore Sweets is usually only a short wait. It's take-out only. When not too hot and humid outside, it's very nice sitting by the lake with our ice cream. :goodvibes

can you go to B&C and just get a sundae? Would it be a SC on the dining plan?

That depends. You cannot use a snack credit at a TS restaurant, so if you go inside, you cannot use a snack credit for a sundae. You can order a sundae and pay for it.

B&C has a takeout area. You can use a snack credit here. However, I think it includes only basic, small sundaes. You cannot get the specialty sundaes at the takeout area.

We go to Beaches and Cream for Kitchen Sinks -- it's a tradition that we started years ago. On our last trip, my DH, Adult DD, her friend and I finished one off. When we go with a group of adults, we usually get one for the kids and one for the adults -- for 6 adults, it's almost not even enough ice cream -- I think it only has 8 scoops. Here it is in all it's glory.

Our friends are at Disney right now. We started the tradition with them and they just posted before and after picture on their Facebook page. The sink was "totally" empty.

Kitchen Sink: This dessert comes with 8 scoops of ice cream and every topping imaginable including bananas, oreo cookies, brownies, nuts, cherries, strawberries, pineapple, chocolate, fudge, caramel, sprinkles, M&M's etc. and to top it all off - a whole can of whip cream!

I vote no for the kitchen sink! I think too much stuff all mixed up would be gross.

My vote is for the Fudge Mud Slide.
