If we go to epcot can we take the boat over to the boardwalk hotels to go to beaches and cream. If this is possible which hotel is closest and are the wheelchair friendly? Also were are the boats located because we have never done this?

Yes, you can get to B&C from Epcot. I'd suggest not taking the boat since it first goes to BW and then over to YC, which is the stop closest to B&C. Instead of the boat, simply walk (roll) directly to B&C from Epcot's International Gateway. Its really not far - shorter than the trip all around World Showcase.

Beaches & Cream is at the Beach Club, not the Boardwalk. I'd suggest walking there from the International Gateway exit from Epcot rather than taking the boat, even with a wheelchair.

You should also note Beaches & Cream does not take reservations; it is strictly first come, first serve. It is also the smallest table service restaurant at WDW. There may be long waits at peak mealtimes, so go at non-peak times or be prepared to wait.

Been there with a wheelchair. if you're pushing the wheelchair take the boat. it's a pleasant ride and a lot easier then pushing a wheelchair up the hill.

No need to push a chair up the hill. Just take the walkway to the left as you approach the hill. Its a nice level path that rejoins the main walkway on the other side of the hill. :teacher:

OKW Lover is correct. You do not need to push the chair up the hill. You can take the path by the water, where there is no hill. This path crosses under the bridge, rather than angling up toward the bridge. You will see the path on the left as you pass the boat dock.

The choice you will have is either pushing the wheelchair from the boat dock along the water to the Beach Club, into the Beach Club pool area (this is accessible by entering the lobby and walking past the Cape May Cafe, then exiting the building again by the pool) or taking the boat, which will stop at the Boardwalk before continuing to the Beach Club, then pushing the chair down the Yacht Club pier and approaching the pool area from the Yacht Club side. Either way is just as much walking, and it may actually be more walking if you throw in having to traverse the Yacht Club pier. If you have time and you'd like a boat ride you can do it that way, but it is just as easy to walk it without taking the boat in my opinion.
