Beaches and Cream questions...

Hi. I have some questions about Beaches and Cream. We'll be eating lunch in the Epcot/boardwalk area. We're on the deluxe dining plan. Do they accept it?
Would we be able to get an appetizer? On the menu it shows soup and chili, would that be an appetizer on the deluxe dining plan? Also, which desserts can you pick from on the deluxe dining? Can you substitute a milkshake for the drink? any other recommendations for lunch? thanks!

Yes, they accept it. There are some items available as appetizers, I think such as the onion rings, probably soup and chili. Beaches and Cream does not take ADRs, it's walk-in only.

You can get any dessert except the Kitchen Sink, which is not included on the dining plan.

I have no idea about whether or not a milkshake can be ordered as a beverage.

We used the last 2 or 3 entitlements from our deluxe plan at B&C in May. Soup, chili and onion rings were all considered appetizers...one other thing I think. My DH did order a shake but I don't remember if it was considered a beverage or dessert.

As Nala said, the only exclusion for dessert is the Kitchen Sink.

Well, you can certainly get more bang for your entitlement at other restaurants. But on the deluxe with a potential of three TS entitlements/night, it's easier to just decide where you want to eat rather than make decisions based on the cost of the meal. In our case, we were planning on Wolfgang Puck Cafe for our last meal before the plane but ran out of time. B&C is always good and as we were at BCV it was fast.

I would not use a TS credit there if on the basic DDP.

If I remember correctly you can get a shake with your meal,but it will be considered your dessert.

Also I do believe if there is like four people you can all share a Kitchen sink for dessert, but you cant get 4 Kitchen Sinks.

at 50's prime time and Sci-Fi i got a milkshake in place of a drink. at LeCellier i got a smoothie in place of a drink too. But not Beaches and Cream? awe..
