Question for the community, my daughter is lactose intolerance... does anyone know if Beaches & Cream has any Lactaid-based "ice cream"?

Many thanks for the help!

Yes, I'm lactose intolerant and they are able to accommodate almost every dish they have on the menu. Some of the larger items I often split with my daughter who is not, and she always tells me she can't tell the difference. Enjoy!

Hi there!

My D has a milk allergy, and we typically eat at B&C every time we visit WDW. I don't know if they have a "Lactaid" branded ice cream per se, but the last time we were there they had Tofutti, Rice Dream, and i *think* the So Delicious Coconut variety.

Hope that helps! :)

Related to this, my youngest also has a dairy allergy. I'm assuming that they make dairy free milkshakes, too? Do you know if they have a designated blender for dairy free or is everything using the same blenders, scoops, etc?

I read they have coconut milk ice cream!! Cannot wait to try it.

Oh that would be nice for my son!

5 years ago I asked if he could get one at WCC and they told em they didn’t have a dedicated blender. I was about to ask for a few scoops of his ice cream in a glass and add some soy/almond milk and I would spoon mix it.

I'm not sure about the blender because we only ordered sundaes. But I know for a fact that they use fresh scoops and make the "allergy" desserts in a separate area. When we told the cashier (we ordered to-go on this particular visit) that our D had allergies, she brought the manager out. He was so incredibly kind and accommodating...he asked our D what kinds of things she liked and came up with a special creation just for her. He cautioned us that our order would take a little longer because it wouldn't go through the "assembly line" area they have out in the open where the regular orders are made. He said that it would be made in the back in a special area designated for preparing the allergy orders. He specifically mentioned that they use dedicated scoops, bowls, etc to avoid cross-contamination. I would *guess* that because they seemed to take allergies so seriously that they would in fact have a dedicated blender, but I would ask just to make sure.

Hope that helps! :)
