I am planning to use a voucher for beaches and cream in late Oct. is it usually crowded at lunchtime between 12 and 1 pm (on a saturday) or is it better to try a dinner?

Thanks!

Beaches and Cream is usually crowded at most usual meal times, that means lunch and dinner. If you want to eat there with a minimul eat at an off time. 11:00 for an early lunch or 3:00 or 4:00 for an early dinner. We got there at 5:30 during our trip in July and had to wait 25 minutes for a table. The place was mobbed during lunch(12:30), so we just ate at Hurricane Hannah's that day.

Beaches & Cream has very little seating so it fills really quickly. We finally decided to get carryout and take it up to the room(beach club) but their carryout menu is very limited and took forever. After all that, it didn't measure up to all the hype but we didn't have icecream either!

We went at 10:45 and got in without much problem (although there were only 2-3 tables open). By 11:00 or 11:15 it was full. We loved this place, but it is too small. They really need to add seating and take out part of the arcade next door.

We ordered the Kitchen Sink. It was a lot of fun. My family of 4 couldn't finish it, but we had a great time trying!

Unless you eat an early dinner, such as 5 or before, do not eat dinner at Beaches and Cream. We waited over an hour for a table there last week. It is not worth waiting an hour for anything in there.

And also don't attempt to eat at B&C right after Illuminations is over! This place gets soooo crowded and crazy between the huge take out line and many frustrated hungry people trying to get tables-- the atmosphere/place can get down right ugly!

We went at about 8:00 and had to wait for 55 minutes with a party of 6. They are very limited in seating. They had told us it would be 25 minutes. We did wait it out because we had promised our son the kitchen sink. 5 of us (3 adults and two huge appetites of 13 year olds) hardly put a dent in that thing, but it was fun.

I've never been, but given the raves about the burgers, if we do go, I'd expect a REALLY good burger - something twice as good as burgers in the parks.

We have a restuarant nearby the serves the "best burgers I've ever had" Angus meat, grilled over charcoal with Amana Blue Cheese. Anytime I hear "good burger" I'm a little disappointed if it isn't that burger.

I really don't expect that burger at Beaches and Cream - but if I waited an hour, I would be disappointed to get a park burger. (Disney's park burgers aren't bad for what they are, but they aren't worth an hour wait.).

We may end up here on our arrival day - plane is supposed to land at 11:20 - get luggage, grocery stop, drop off luggage (check in if the room is ready) and I really don't expect to get there before 2:00. If its crowded, we will go into Epcot and eat WS counter service.

You will disappointed then. I like B&C a lot but their burgers are not the same caliber as the one you described.

I figured. We go out of our way 20 miles for that burger and will wait for an hour to get a table. That burger is worth it.

But since that burger is about three times better than the next best burger I've ever had, I don't ever expect to run into another one that good by chance.

(I wonder what they put in that burger to make it so good.)

I had just been told, if you stay at the Beach club, You have to try Beaches & Cream. #1 - we ended up with take out because of the line and they have a very small take out menu. Can't get kids meals, and most of the stuff on the menu I wanted was not available for take out. #2, it was just a hot dog - nice size but just a hot dog, just a grilled cheese, etc. Nothing outstanding.

We may try for a table in November or atleast get icecream.

I like B&C, but it is not worth 30 minutes of waiting and I wouldn't make a special trip to eat there. But it's nice if you're staying there or want to go for lunch to break up your Epcot day.
