Just wondering how impossible it is to get in for dinner at Beaches and Cream. We were thinking of having dinner there one night (probably around 6pm) before we head over to see Fantasmic.

Beachs and Cream is a great restaurant--awesome burgers, but it is tiny! I'm guessing there's maybe 20 tables in the whole restaurant. We ate there on a Sunday afternoon (around 3:00) in the beginning of December, we had a 30 minute wait for a party of 5. My advice would be to try to eat at an odd time and plan to wait for a table.

If you hit Beaches and Cream at prime meal hours (12 - 2 for lunch, 5 - 7 for dinner, and after Illuminations) there will be ea hefty wait for a table. We went to Beaches and Cream for dinner one night at 5, and got the last table available. The restaurant is VERY small, and there are (mental counting) 4 or 5 booths for larger parties, and maybe 5 or 6 tables. There is seating at the counter for approx 5 people as well. So, if you plan on dining here and have someplace you need to be, eat early, or do it on a night when you don't have any immediate plans so you'll have time to wait. It also doesn't depend if it's busy or not at WDW, since the small size of Beaches and Cream makes it crowded year round.

If you eat at B&C around 6 PM, you will never make the show!! It's always very busy. They do have take-out and you can eat on the tables just outside the restaurant. If you try for before the dinner rush or after, you might get a table.

Be prepared to WAIT if you arrive at 6 p.m. B&C does not take PS, so it's first come, first served. When my DW and I went there for a dinner one evening about 5:30 p.m. we had a 25 min. wait. They do have pagers, so you could wander around. There's a game room nearby (yet another way to separate your money from your wallet!! :jester: ).

Yikes! I think maybe we'll jut do pizza at the Spoodles window that night instead. Are the lunch time crowds as bad?

We arrived at 7:30pm and waited an hour for a table. DS just played in the arcade. It was even crazier in the to go line! It really is a great burger/shake place! Although we enjoyed Dolphin Fountain equally as much last trip and there was no wait! Food is similar to B&C and its on the ground level of Dolphin. Just a short walk from B&C.

PS> We even got DVC discount there.

Our last trip in November, my son and I had dinner at B&C before taking the boat to the Studios. I believe we went about 4:45. Anyway, it wasn't crowded at all. We had one of those relatively large booths just for the two of us. I think there was one couple there ahead of us. This was midweek the week before Thanksgiving.

So if you can go earlier, it might be worth a try. Just have a backup plan.
