Beaches and Cream closed

My family and I will be staying at Yacht Club October 7th to 11th and I read Beaches and Cream was closed for the time we are there. I have heard a lot about the over the top milk shakes and was excited to try one. Will there be anywhere near there we can get those while we are staying there?

Disney only has indicated that there will be other places at the BC for ice cream, while B&C is closed for refurbishment. There probably won't be further details until closer to the shutdown.

If you are looking for alternatives, the Fountain at the Dolphin has specialty shakes, ice cream and sundaes. Ample Hills on the Boardwalk has some of the best ice cream in WDW, IMHO and also has ice cream, shakes and desserts.

We ate at the Fountain a few weeks ago and it was as good as B&C in my opinion. Didn’t have the ice cream(too full) but I will say what I saw looked real good....

I think it was DFB who indicated that B&C would have a limited to go menu available during the refurbishment

Does anyone know what is going on there? It was closed for refurb in March when we went, and we just checked for our next trip in October, and it is closed for refurb again! Two refurbs in less than a year???

It's being expanded. Disney is closing the arcade next door to Beaches & Cream and will be adding that space to the restaurant.
