Beaches and Cream / Beach Club Marketplace

My DH said that Beach Club Marketplace replaced Beaches and Cream. I told him his was wrong. He showed me the '06 Birnbaum Book which states that Beach & Cream was replaced by Beach Club Marketplace.

Allears lists menues for each.

I'm sure this was addressed before but I can't find the explaination. Can someone help me out. Thanks.

We were there in October last year and both were still there! The marketplace is inside they do have some snacks and salds etc.. but beaches and cream has a full menu and ice cream etc..and the beaches n cream is by the storm along bay pool! I don't know if this helps but they were there October 28th thru November 4th 2005!! You can always call the Beach Club and ask or go on the DVC Board and ask somone whos home resort is Beach Club! Just a few suggestions for you!

Yum! Gelato at one and huge ice cream sundaes at the other... What's not to love? Tell your hubby Birnbaum is dead so sometimes he gets it wrong

The confusion may have originated because B&C stopped serving breakfast and I think that was just as BV Marketplace reopened.

But both are alive and well. We used both in May '06.

The Marketplace offers great sandwiches and at breakfast there is a wonderful yogurt and berry parfait and very good egg croissants. Lots of bakery treats as well as that gelato.

The Birnbaum guide is incorrect, despite being the "Official" guide. Both venues are open. The Market Place is part of the gift shop area. B&C remains where its always been.
