DH and I were thinking of trying this, but curious as to other's opinions. We like it because it seems pretty simple (we're ok with a cheeseburger and fries for dinner, and really shy away from anything overtly fancy). Anyone have any opinions.

The food is good, the ice cream is too. There isn't much seating though.....

That's right. It's more of a cafe than a restaurant. To my knowledge, B&C does not take ADRs. It's first come, first seated.

I had the burger. It was pretty good. My wife and I shared a No way Jose. That was awesome!

LOVE the No Way Jose. The rest is pretty basic - burger & fries type. I actually like the Fountain at the Dolphin better, but B&C is a nice little place too. No ADRs and limited seating so be prepared to wait unless you go when they first open or at an off time.

We love it. It is basic food like burgers but we think they're the best on Disney property and add a vanilla Coke and it's always a must-do for us. They don't take ADRs but you put your name in and they give you a pager and you can sit outside Stormalong Bay and kick back with a drink from Hanna's.

We were there two weeks ago around 12:30 and we were immediately seated. The food is very good and the portions are huge. DH and I shared a double cheeseburger and onion rings and it was very filling! The Milky Way Sundae was so large we also shared it with our DD18. We all left stuffed!

Beaches and Cream has good ice cream. Love the No Way Jose especially. The burgers are decent enough, but not as good as those close by at the Dolphin (The Fountain or the Cabana).
There is very little seating, so wait times are unpredictable, even during off hours. Service also is unpredictable. Some of the servers are awesome, and others, as Borat would say, not so much.
If you haven't been, you should try it just to see what all the fuss is about.

There are a lot of eating options all within walking distance, so if B&C does not have immediate seating, there is no need to worry. Espn Club has an awesome burger and that is about a 4-5 minute walk away from B&C.

As everyone else has said, B&C is small and like a diner. We eat there a lot when we stay at Beach Club, but otherwise don't make a special trip there. I don't think the food is spectacular, but I do enjoy the chili cheese hot dog. The ice cream treats are wonderful and a lot of nights we stop at B&C just for ice cream.

DH and I have been here for dinner and lunch, the food is very good and the atmosphere is fun

I think the burgers at B&C are some of the best on property. I also enjoy the sundaes (although we will never attempt the Kitchen Sink again... whew)...
I think I actually prefer sitting at the bar rather than seated at a table. You can watch them cooking and making the ice cream and there's always someone there you can ask for something and not have to wait for them to come back to your table. Also, if you are seated at a table in the middle of the restaurant, you might feel like you are in the way and always have someone walk around you.

I also love the fact that they take the TIW discount to make it even better. My only complaint is the size. If you have more than 2-4 people, it could take awhile during the busy times (normal lunch/dinner crowd).

Check out my dining review (link at the bottom of this post) I just reviewed Beaches & Cream dinner and the Kitchen Sink

We ate there 5/15, the last night of our trip and all really enjoyed it. We stayed at the BC, so had seen it all week, but just couldn't fit it into our plans. We had been at Epcot all day, walked back for dinner and went back to Epcot for Illuminations. They told us it would be an hour wait for a table or we could be seated immediately at the counter. The kids LOVE the counter, so we went right in. (about 7PM or so)

The kids (6, 8, 8) all had cheesburgers. DH had the grilled chicken sandwich (which he said was the best he'd ever eaten) and I had the turkey sandwich on multi-grain bun. The food was GREAT!!!

The kids enjoyed their cute Mickey sundaes w/Oreo ears, DH got frozen yogurt, and I had fat-free, sugar free vanilla. (BUT put hot fudge on it, so negated any benefits!) All were good.

We will definitely go here again. We were not on the DDP, so just paid and it was among the most reasonable table service meals of our trip.

Enjoy!

DD and I had dinner at Beaches and Cream in February 2009 and really enjoyed it. We were staying at the Beach Club and walked over after visiting Epcot. DH opted to stay in the room since he had eaten fish and chips at Epcot. We each had a burger and fries and she had a sundae for dessert. She thought it was neat that her Coke came in an old style bottle. We'd definitely eat there again if we were staying in the Epcot resort area. But I don't think we'd make a special trip.

Dh and I like the food, but truthfully it is nothing all that special. We prefer the Fountain over at the Dolphin. Beaches and Cream is way too small and packed and not worth that long of a wait. They need to make the place bigger.

Can I get a sundae to go at the walk up window (like to milky way one?)

Best burger we had on our last trip and a place we are going to hit again before Jellyrolls!

The takeout window is VERY limited. None of the specialty sundaes are on the list. A basic hot fudge i believe is the only sundae on the takeout window menu.

We had the kitchen sink, so we didn't order food. The Burgers however, looked like some of the Best I have seen at WDW. I don't think you will be disappointed by the portions or the quality of the food. Don't go there expecting a fine steak and you will have a good time. I plan on eating there next time..... we couldn't finish the kitchen sink.

If you can get your DH to share food and a large sundae, that would be good, especially for Lunch. Go early and be prepared to wait just a bit. My DH doesn't like to share food (weird...) but sometimes I get him to. The last time we were there (December) it was 3 adults and 2 young ones...I think I ordered a bowl of soup because...finallly...we had enough people to order a Kitchen Sink!

This time we're going to try the same type of thing at Ghiradelli.

(adding another pic of the No Way Jose - b/c I don't think that there's enough :p)

My dining experience here has been limited to this sundae and a hamburger with fries. I find the burgers here to be good!
