I need to decide fast!!! It will be Myself, DH, DD9 and DS11... which one would you suggest and why??? TIA!! :flower:

We own at BCV and have stayed there many time but have also stayed at BWV. In my opinion I don't think you can make a bad choice because they both are equally nice.

Sure, if you plan on doing a good deal of swimming, then you may want to consider BCV because of Stormalong Bay. Otherwise, in my view you just need to decide what appeals the most to you and your family.

I can tell you this, it's true that at BWV your room could a long way from the main lobby. But, some of the rooms at BCV are a good deal away from the main lobby as well (plus you are in a totally separate building).

My preference is BCV because I like the decore just a bit better and it's closer to Epcot. But, not everyone would agree.

Have a good trip

Beach Club, because of Stormalong Bay. Plus I like the themeing of the Beach Club...casual, beachy, tropical-ly (is that a word??? :confused3 ). Plus I like the WS area of Epcot and the BC is a tad bit closer of a walk than BW...not that BWV is miles away, but you KWIM.

We stayed at both this year and I can honestly say---we LOVED them both! If you plan to go to MGM as well as Epcot, stay at BWV--you can easily walk to both parks from there.

Well BCV is about 200 yards closer to EPCOT if you want to get technical!!!

Regarding SAB, it really depends on what kind of swimmers your kids are and what kind of Mom you are. Its a very difficult pool to track kids through, so if you feel the need to watch your kids in the pool, its a bad choice. If you are the type of Mom that can say "be back here at 3:00" and have everything work out - its a great pool.

We don't like The Boardwalk or Boardwalk Villas but we LOVE Beach Club and Beach Club Villas - so our advice would be BCV - no question.

Wherever you go - have fun.

We love both for these reasons:

BWVs: great views of Epcot fireworks when staying in boardwalk view room, and on 3rd or higher floor
Community Hall has activities, 3 nintendo game consoles, ping-pong table, foosball tables for 9 & 11 year olds to hang out in. It's also by the DVC pool.
Luna pool has a cool roller coaster slide, and is small enough to see your children from your lounge chair!
Small arcade room by weight room and Luna Pool
Boat to MGM, or walk or boat to Epcot
many food places to choose from on the Boardwalk: ESPN club, Spoodles, Big Rivier Grille, walk-up Pizza window, bakery close to Swan and Dolphin restaurants, Epcot & across the bay from Beaches & Cream at the BCVs.
Nice valet & bellmen...
request being near the elevators if you don't like a long walk to your room.

BCVs: smaller number of villas, can get close to self-parking lot for easy access to car
some good views of Epcot's fireworks
nice DVC pool and Storm a long Bay Pool with nice walk-up window for food Hurricane Hannahs
Beaches & Cream, Cape May, and deli in Market Place lobby area
short walk to Epcot
arcade game room next to Beaches and Cream

Boardwalk or Beachclub, lots to do nice area close to epcot, boardwalk lovely at night to go along with kids , arcade games etc, great pool at beachclub you won't go wrong with either

Since you used the word "technical" i have to ask where you obtained this info and from where to where?

Since the BWV rooms furthest away from Epcot are "roughly" 200 yards from Celebration :teeth:

I have stayed at both and can honestly be happy at either. The only big plus for us at BCV is that if it is raining you can stay under cover if you need supplies or to hit a restaurant.
