Beach umbrella

We were thinking about bringing our beach umbrella. Will we be able to use them? And are they needed?

Private beach umbrellas aren't allowed. It's part of the Ko Olina regulations.

1. They're not allowed.

2. They would stick out like a sore thumb and you would look silly even if they were allowed because you'd be the ONLY one off on your own with your own beach umbrella.

3. Umbrellas and chairs are provided free of charge.

4. Would you seriously fly from Minneapolis to Honolulu with a beach umbrella?

They are also not needed. The Aulani chairs on the beach have lots of umbrellas and that’s usually the area where getting a chair isn’t difficult.
