Beach town between Orlando and Hollywood Beach???

We are looking for a 1-2 day stop on our trip from Disney to Hollywood Beach.

Something as close to the beach/coast as possible, with good food and shops to visit.

Suggestions welcome!

Vero beach is 1/2 way. There’s a DVC Disney resort there and nice restaurants in the area. You could do cocoa beach which is basically due east of Orlando and go to Kennedy space center too.

We enjoyed Jupiter beaches/parks.
