We'll be taking our third cruise on the Magic (Western) in July. We've never taken a non-Disney excursion, so I'm not sure about the answer to this question.

I know Disney provides beach towels around the pool area and while disembarking at Castaway Cay. If we schedule non-Disney excurions, such as Captain Marvin's or our own beach visit, does Disney provide towels? While disembarking? Or do we 'snag' them from the pool area?

I definitely don't plan to pack our own!

I can't say first hand because all the excursions we did were disney but, I have heard other people say you can grab them coming off the boat because they do not ask for proof that you are on a "disney excursion". Also I've read it is no problem to take them from the pool area the day before your excursion if you wish. I'm sure you'll have no problem getting towels either way. Have fun!:sunny:

As you are getting off the ship, keep a sharp eye out for either someone handing out towels, or a large bin of towels. Look either in the elevator lobby of the floor you are getting off, or in the holding area. There tends to be a lot going on, and lots of people around, but keep your search in mind. Ask if you don't see them. We had no problem taking them off just to head to the beach on our own....just remember to return them!
