BEACH RENTALS CLOSEST TO UNIVERSAL

We are planning a trip to Universal in June 2016, but would love to stay near the closest beach. We are a family of four, two adults and two teens.
Would love our rental to be close enough to walk to the beach, we would have a rental car to drive
to Universal.

Santa Monica area would be your closest. To get to Universal it would be the 10, to the 405, to the 101. You could go more north into Pacific Palisades and Malibu area or south to the Manhattan and Redondo area too. It all depends what kind of feel you want. Each place is a little different of a feel. With teens I would consider Santa Monica since it has the pier with rides and games and what not.
