Beach Cottage Success!

A year ago we celebrated our 40th anniversary with a family get together at VB, with a BC and 3 other rooms. Last week one DGD asked if we owned the "Turtle house" and if we were going to stay there again! I knew that we couldn't book one just yet, so, I was hoping I'd be able to give her the

Well, this morning, I was successful, and can tell her that we will be staying in one for 4 nights next June.

I was one person who wasn't sure the new booking policy would allow us to get one again, but my worry was in vain.

There may be a few people joining us, and we'll try to book some more rooms at 7 months, but this was the main villa that we wanted. Soon, we'll be booking the 4th of July segment of that trip!

I'm happy you got your cottage! I remember you saying you wanted one for your trip. That must be lots of people to fill a cottage plus more rooms!

Just out of curiosity, did you request a specific one?
Although I know the chances are slim, we put in a request for our October cottage. Not only did we call MS, but when we were at VB in May we talked with the front desk staff. They put lots of notes on our ressie... We shall see.

We have not requested a specific cottage. We didn't last year. I forget which one we had, but DGD did remember that had a type of turtle name, but they all have one.

We have 7 people staying in the cottage and that's what we had last year as well, DH, myself and DS's family.

Maistre Gracey, I sure hope you get the cottage you truly want!
