so I just tried to book this for Nov. 8 through the 15th and they are completely booked. HUH???????

I thought that was one of the best weeks to go and its still pretty early!!

The Epcot resorts are pretty popular during the Food and Wine Festival which runs until the 9th.
Can you change your dates? Maybe if you tried booking for a few days after 11/9.

Food & Wine goes thru the 9th & Super Soap Weekend is the 15th & 16th. I couldn't get in either..............

Yeah it doesn't make sense though since the week has one of the lowest crowd turnouts for the year. So its just strange that they are totally booked.

But alot of the people who go primarily for the F&W festival like to stay at Bc because of its proximity to Epcots IG.

It's also "Jersey Week". New Jersey schools have teachers convention that week, so schools closed and guess where everyone goes.....WDW!

I think during F&W festival the epcot resorts tend to be booked up.

I think Jersey Week is the week before. We'll be there at the tail end of that.

It does make sense, the Food and Wine festival is extremely popular, and people book well in advance for it. The DVC resorts in the area (BCV, BWV) were booked months ago. F&W is such a big draw that some people buy DVC at the Beach Club to ensure that they'll be able to get a room there during the festival.

That may be a low-crowd week for other resorts and other theme parks, but the Epcot area is busy from October through November.

I agree with the others. This is a VERY popular time for the Epcot Resorts with the Food & Wine festival. We book 11 - 12 months in advance to insure that we are able to stay in this area. It is not "early" to be booking. Many people have said the same thing to the OP, It is a busy time for this area. Have you researched room availability in other on property areas?

I'd also bet that all the soap stars and their entourages are put up at YC/BC that week. In fact,wasn't there a thread here last year with people complaining because when a soap star would get on an elevator no one else was allowed to get on that same elevator
