We are staying at the Beach Club Villas during the middle of December. For those that have stayed there.....how did you enjoythe place?....what was the best thing about staying there?....where were some of the best places you found to take photos at?

We stayed at BCV in April. SAB was excellent and the BCV location makes it a snap to walk to Epcot or the Boardwalk. Walking to MGM is possible, but we do enough walking while in the park---so take the boat. We found the fitness center very useful for workouts. In addition, they were happy to give us a complementary locker which came in very handy after we checked out of the room, but had lots of time to sit at the pool while waiting to leave for our flight home. I understand that DVC members also get lockers and use the pool while waiting for their rooms to be ready at the start of their vacations.

We just left BCV last week:( This was our second stay there. Our favorite thing about BCV is the location. We really enjoy the walk to Epcot and being so close to the Boardwalk. Although it's not the fastest way to get there, we like to take the boat to MGM at least once during our stay. SAB is really cool, although this stay we swam in the quiet pool while we did laundry since it was closer. The bridge across the canal as you walk from the parking lot to the rooms is a great spot to get pictures. At night the reflection of the buildings in the canal is very pretty. We always take a picture of our kids next to the Ariel statue. The walk between Epcot and BCV is also full of photo ops as well as down by SAB looking across the lake at the Boardwalk. You will have a great time!!

We loved the BCV! We've been to several on property resorts, and given the decor, SAB, and location, this was one of our best trips.

Photo locations - I assume you mean with the family in the pic:

1) With Art the Greeter. (another reason for staying there!)
2) With the mermaid (statue, of course)
3) With the antique car at the entrance.
4) With a Kitchen Sink at your table at Beaches and Cream.
5) With Minnie at Cape Mae Character Breakfast (I have a thing for Minnie, so I never miss a chance for a picture with her)
6) With the Albatross in the background ( I think that's the name of the shipwreck slide?)

Enjoy!

We just got back from a 12 day stay at BCV and loved it. The pool is awesome and the resort is just beautiful. Many great photo ops as mentioned; we got our picture with Art for the first time. He is a real gem. We found he is usually there in the mornings, and not everyday.

We also like to take a pic in front of the butterfly topiary in the back garden area.

You can't go wrong at BC; enjoy!

Thank you all for taking the time to give me your opinions about BCV! I'm a picture nut...I take pictures of everything for my scrapbooks. My cousin & I are going to Disney World.....girls trip! No men! Lots of shopping, of course! lol Thanks again eveyone!!!!!

We always stay at the BCV during the first week in December. We've never had a problem with the resort.

The best thing about staying at BCV is walking "home" after Illuminations. The reflection of the lights from the Boardwalk across the lake is beautiful. You don't have to stand in line for busses or wait in the traffic to get off the parking lot.

We really like that...

Don't forget to look for the mysterious oval--a walking path that goes around in a circle for no reason whatever. Perhaps a flying saucer landed there?

In addition to Art the Greeter and The Oval, our favorite picture is the gingerbread carousel they have in the lobby during Christmas season. Don't miss it!
