What is the major difference between a 2 bedroom villa, 2 bedroom villa with lock-off and 2 bedroom villa with 2 queen beds? We're going in April (4 adults and one 4yr old). Thanks!!!

A dedicated 2 bedroom villa will only have one entrance from the hallway into the villa. A lockoff 2 bedroom is a studio attached with a one bedroom that has a connecting door between them and each portion (studio and one bedroom) will have a door that accesses the hallway.

A small number of the dedicated 2 bedrooms have 2 queen beds in the second bedroom; the majority are lockoffs that have one queen plus a sleeper sofa. Members snag the 2 queen options on points; I've heard it's rare for cash paying customers to be able to get one of those. I am a BCV owner so we stay on points and have always been able to get the 2 queens if we wanted it.

There are 25 dedicated two bedroom villas at BCV with two queen beds in the second bedroom. So they go quickly at 11 months out to members who own at BCV.

What is the bed configuration in the second bedroom if you don't get the 2 queen beds? We've never reserved a 2 BR, but are taking our DS and family (including our little granddaughter) for the first time next year and don't know what to ask for.

We had a 2 bed/2 queen on our last trip to BCV. If you have a lock-off/non dedicated 2 bedroom then the lock-off room not only has the separate entrance, but a kitchenette as well because it can also be used as a studio room. I believe the dedicated units also have more closet space because there's no kitchenette or separate entrance.

If you are in the dedicated without two queen beds it will be a queen bed and sleeper sofa (maybe double, maybe queen, not sure).

We do not own at BCV but were able to get 2 of the 2bed/2queen rooms for May of last year. We had 8 adults and it worked out great. I think it depends on the time of year if these rooms are available. Good luck!

Teeny tiny fact. There are no 2 BR villa units with the 2 queen beds in the second bedroom on the first floor. The majority of the dedicated 2 BR with 2 queens in the second BR are on the 3rd floor.
