Our home resort is SSR but I really like the look of BVC, could someone please answer these questions for me? :goodvibes

1 - Is it easy to book there? Im worried that by the time the 7 month window opens we won't get anything.

2 - Are the rooms ok? Ive read a few reports that say the rooms are run down?

3 - Are the villas far from the restaurants etc?

Thankyou!

Hiya Jen,
We have just bought into Saratoga too, but we have stayed at the beach club, and looked at the Villas, and they're not too far from the restaurants.
The Clambake at the Beachclub is great, and so is their character breakfast. You also have beaches and cream close by. You also have a short walk to the Boardwalk or Epcot to eat out as well. We found this resort very convenient . We also ate at the Yacht Club Galley which we really enjoyed.
Of course they also have the wonderful pool.

We've just come back from the Beach Club and booked with no problems at 7 months.

The rooms were great and not run down at all

It depends on which room you get as to how far from the shop and pool it is. We were in a great room but some of them could be a long walk away it really depends on the luck of the draw when you check in.

booking at 7 months depends on the time of year you travel. During busy events and holidays it can be almost impossible i.e. F&W, Xmas, easter, etc... We have done it during slow non peak season, but i recommend you call MS and book day by day.

We found the rooms and location to be excellent, very easy walk to BW, EPCOT, Yacht club plus a couple of good places to eat on site, also a well stocked food store in the lobby area with grocery items and quick snack foods (place to refill mugs as well)

All In All worth trying for IMO :goodvibes

I can't help with the boking at 7 months issue as our BCV stays are always booked at 11 months. We love staying at the BCV, we will definately be staying there next trip (actually I wouldn't want to stay anywhere else!) We book the 2 bedroomed villas and the ones we have stayed in so far have been great. We like a pool view with full balcony which we have always got. The walks to the restaurant are not that far (about 5 mins to the Yachtsmans Steakhouse over in the YC which would be nearly the farthest away which we love).
We love the location of the BCV, being able to walk int Epcot and MGM is a big plus for us, as is Stormalong Bay. Also we always hire a car when we are in Florida and the car park is very convenient to the BCV, although as it is at the side of the villas you can't see it from the rooms much. Also I love walking out into the balcony on a morning and seeing the aligator and sea turtles in the canal!!

we are on the wait list for BCV still the 7 month
this is for the first week in Nov , last week of the F&W festival
not holding out much hope

we have stayed in the BC resort before and loved it

Hmmm...I'm not sure about the rest of these posters, but in our experience BCV is a nasty, dreadful place. I'm sure you wouldn't like it at all. Nothing to look at...keep moving along :rolleyes1
