Beach Club is our home resort and we love the amenities and location. However, we struggle with the studio locations there. We like quiet (but fireworks is always ok) and can't stand the elevator shaft noise prevalent in so many BCV studios - some kind of architectural defect.

What is the best request for BCV studios to hopefully avoid both elevator and road noise?

I had a cash stay in a BCV studio. I called 407-W-DISNEY and requested a room which ends in 55 or 59.

The person on the phone seemed really optimistic that I would get my request, because there are so many rooms like that. I thought he was overly optimistic. I said there are only 10. He said some people make a request for which there are only about 3 possible rooms.

End result: They assigned me to Room 325, which was next to the elevator. I went to the room, couldn't stand the elevator shaft noise, and went down to the front desk and begged to be moved. They did have a different studio to switch me to. (This was pre-COVID.)

Room map in case you don't have it:

Thank you. What room did you end up in? Would love to know what are the best requests to make on the ressie to avoid elevator/road noise.

We once stayed in #566, a corner studio room. The balcony is quite large with a pretty good view, but the room shares a wall with the elevator and the noise was extremely annoying. It wasn’t worth our moving for one night, if that was even a possibility (this was some years back).

Where the arrow points to “woods” in that area, especially on the “jog” starting with -39, is my favorite for quiet.
