Beach Club Villas question

So just did a split stay between Grand Floridan (our home) and Beach Club Villas. Have stayed at Beach and Yacht Hotel several times and love it and on a lark waitlisted a few night at Beach Club Villas for Festival of the Arts. Got lucky and we just stayed there
so we loved the room and actually probably our favorite studio we have stayed in (we only do studios just 2 of us )
Room and bathroom were huge BUT we were informed that we were in a handicapped accessible room. The bathroom was one huge room with the toilet in the same room as the sink and shower etc. is this the norm or is it just because it was handicapped?
the kitchenette area was much bigger than VGF not huge but at least a more workable area and the room itself was very large. Very comfortable just trying to determine if all the studios are that big and layout or just because we had a handicapped room?
the location and proximity to Epcot is the best however we had a less than stellar view and when I walked around the villas I couldn’t see where there were any rooms with a decent view, are there any? All I saw was the small pool view and everything else looked to be parking lot or the hotel itself. Are there any better views?
At VGF all the views are excellent but even with the monorail you can’t beat that ability to walk into Epcot!
I can certainly see why people love this property

Youtube says that is not the norm - the sink is typically outside the bathroom:

The older resort villas are typically larger than the newer ones. (Poly is an exception.)

There are a handful of slightly better views (barely see the Epcot fireworks) but there's a reason that view is not a booking category.

That. Yes.

It’s the luck of the draw. We had a one bedroom that looked over the back road and had a view of Spaceship Earth. We could also easily see Harmonious since most of the fireworks were over the tree line.
The first two photos are looking straight. The fireworks views are looking to the right.

BWV has better views and same location advantage imo. Definitely love BC but I think your room was larger than the norm.

If you had--
--a normal-sized closet with rod at the usual height
--didn't notice a lower kitchenette countertop with padding on sink drainpipes and a wide opening below sink
--bathroom sink seemed a normal height

Then, you probably had a walking disabled accessible room.

Were there more bars around the toilet and in the tub-shower? Did the toilet seem higher than usual? Those are also a clue that's what it was.

We've had a walking disabled 1br at VGF because that's what DH needs. It had larger rooms and the squarish, all-in-one bathroom you describe. We figured rooms were more spacious because walking disabled people like DH may be using an ECV and need room to maneuver it more easily. DH has his own powerchair, though usually parks it in the room, using it only to go out. Occasionally, when his legs are hurting (broke both badly years ago), he uses his chair to roll into the bathroom.

Views are also very subjective as to what's "good".
That looks like the view I once had from Room#460. Despite the great view of Spaceship Earth and the fireworks, I couldn't get over the road noise. On the other hand, I was recently at BCV in a studio overlooking the "Woods", in the semi-circle (KWIM?). No fireworks, no Spaceship Earth. But every morning I was greeted by Osprey soaring around and lots of pine warblers in the trees, as well as the top of Epcot's Eiffel Tower. It was a great view for a bird watcher like me, but I'm sure most people would say "nothing special-just trees".
And yes, all the regular studios have the vanity outside the bathroom, and unfortunately, it has just one sink.
