Beach Club Villas or Boardwalk Villas? HELP!

I have yet another decision to make. This time I have to commit to a decision within the next day. I am renting DVC points for the week of October 27th (my birthday). I have been on a waitlist for Boardwalk for the past few months. The seven month window just opened up for ressies at the other DVC resorts and they were able to get me the week at the Beach Club. How awesome is that. Just two days later, they got a call that there is availability at the Boardwalk. Now I don't know what to do. I have done BWV before and have never stayed at Yacht and Beach. I know that they are both awesome so either way I cannot go wrong. I am leaning toward Boardwalk because we are planning on attending their Halloween party...but leaning toward Beach Club because of SAB. What do I do???? I am putting it in your hands.

This is a REALLY hard decision, we're DVC members as well... If view does not matter to you, I'd go with BC, you'll be five minutes from EPCOT & you'll have SAB... But, if view is important, go with BW... I'm pretty certain you can still take part of BW Halloween activities even though you aren't staying there (but don't hold me to that)... I guess for me personally though I still prefer BW, I just love it there... I'm sure this didn't help at all... I say stay at BW afterall!!!!

I'm not sure what to suggest... but I just wanted to tell you that our family will be at BCV that same week! Maybe we'll see you??? LOL

I"ve never stayed at either, but I think I would choose BCV only because it will be new and I think you can still participate in Halloween at BW. Although if you love the BWV you might want to stay there. You can check out the BCV and decide for a future trip! You can't go wrong either way! Ooops. Not really much of a help! I am trying to Decide Between BWV, BCV, BC, BW, or YC for thanksgiving trip! Oh the Decisions we have to make!!!

tough choice - I would probably stay at Beach Club Villas. They're *brand* new, should be very exciting. Also, about 40% of the rooms face out towards Epcot - only about 20% of the BWV's rooms are Boardwalk view- if view matters to you, I don't think that BWV would give you any advantage - I would actually argue that you might have a better shot at an Illuminations view with BCV than with BWV (considering they're not reservations made at the 11 month window or anything) - Boardwalk is *absolutely* fantastic, but I vote to give Beach Club a shot! DVD players in the room, neat little writing desks in the master bedroom, and BRAND spankin' new!

Okay guys, I am starting to lean toward the BCV. DH is no help whatsoever. If I hear, "well, it's up to you, you are the expert" one more time.....I'm going to screeeeaaaaaam! I wish I had more time to think about it. I am sure whichever I decide....I will end up wanting the other!

I just switched my BWV reservations over to the BCV. I didn't think twice. The two resorts are basically just across the pond from each other, so I don't think you can go wrong with either one. I am looking forward to staying in a resort that is fairly brand-new. I'll be there for Halloween, my favorite time of year -- anywhere.
