Beach Club Villas - favorite area

There is only one building, so no choice there. And the views don't amount to much either. Pool view is nice. Courtyard view is nice. You can't see the Lagoon because the BC is between the villas and the view of the BW.

Where is your favorite area to stay and why? Which floor, bldg? Etc.

We just stayed in room 477 and could see the higher fireworks from EPCOT and MK every night. Downside was it overlooked the road that came into the resort, not much to look at but it worked great for us. It was the last room on the hall....they must have known my kids and wanted them as far away from as many people as they could:rotfl:

Ah, now I understand why I have not seen this topic discussed in regards to BCV. I wondered why folks talked about favorite areas in regards to OKW, SSR, etc. I did not realize BCV was limited to one building.

My favorite area is woods view, fourth floor. When you get off the elevator, take a right down the long hall until you can turn right again by the ice/vending machines. Look for the rooms on the right side. I've been in 8 different BCV studios, 4 in this corridor on different floors. I love seeing the Eiffel tower from there, and hearing the WS backround music. It's fairly quiet there. And every morning, from that view, there's a hawk that sits calmly in a nearby tree, which I enjoy. Different people like different things, though, I'm sure.

I enjoy quiet and nature. I think your favorite area would be my cup of tea. :goodvibes

My favorite was a 2nd or 3rd floor (we had a large balcony, thought it was 2nd, but maybe not.

Anyway, we overlooked the quiet pool, which was great, because when my son was 11, we could watch him swim and even talk to him in a normal tone of voice, etc. It was a very relaxing view.

I like the villas that face the canal and the villa pool. They are close to the parking lot, and that may take away from the view for some, but I thought it was fine, and actually looking at the BC at night, it was very pretty with the lights. I've also faced the woods, been near to the road on the first floor, and have looked at the green area, not the pool but more like the entrance to BC. We've had dedicated studios with gigantic balconies! Every trip has been a pleasure. Our dedicated 2 bedroom in November had a walk to it that rivaled BWV's hallways that's for sure!

We love the BCV's enough to buy points there and make it one of our homes.

Try this link to help you, but don't request a certain room number b/c if it's not available, they won't know where to put you. Request a certain area, ie. pool view.

Good luck!

What link? I found dvcnew, then review rooms. But they only list BCV and a small amount for animal kingdom.

Have an enchanted evening!

#422 was a real nice one too. However, it had a solid (not open) lower part of the balcony and the balcony was very small. Not as quiet an area as the other woods views I had, but a very nice view of Illuminations.

I've only stayed at BCV once and our room overlooked the quiet pool and a little canal. It was a great location in my opinion. It was a long haul to SAB, but nice for evening dips in the quiet pool and a close walk to the bus stop. Also, since we drove, our car was quite close and made grocery visits and loading up to leave very convenient. We were in a 2BR and I believe our balcony spanned the entire length of the unit. Hoping to go again in 2010 and would love the same area.

Looking at the link with the room layouts an view (very nice thanks!) it looks like part of the beach club actually goes over the canal? Is this the case?
