We have only stayed at OKW on rented points but I love the pool at the Beach Club. Now that we are not park commandos I thought perhaps more relaxing time at the villa.

Might you give me your input on the rooms? How is the kitchen, bath, etc for a 1 br? Also, is there an outside patio area?

Most of the villas are the same from resort to resort. OKW has larger rooms. The kitchens are adequate and the LR and BR have a patio large enough for a couple chairs and a small table.

The one bedroom at OKW is very different from all the other one bedroom villas. OKW is much larger, the others all much smaller. The OKW porch is very large, large enough to eat dinner on (for a family of four). The other have small narrow balconies with two chairs and one small side table (similar to what you have in an OKW studio, only long rather than square. OKW has a full sized washer and dryer. All the others have compact stackable washer and dryer.

BCV is a quiet resort, since it is situated back from the lagoon and main pool. Most of the views are not much, pool view or garden/woods views.

We used to stay at OKW when the kids were younger, now they are teenagers we stay at BCV to be close to the parks. We stay at OKW to relax. The dvc pool at BCV is quiet but SAB is very busy. Like other posters have said about the rooms and porches are smaller.

this is a great point...we love BCV, but stay constantly at OKW due to the age of our children and the space in the rooms, the size of the balconies, and just the resort feel....I imagine when they get older and are able to move around on their own it will be exclusively BCV, BWV, and conteporary DVC or whatever the hell they call the place!!

We usually stay at a 1 bedroom BCV. We've been there numerous times. We find that the rooms are smaller than the one in OKW. However, BCV is our favourite. As you mentioned, it is definitely a perfect resort to spend a lot of time at the resort. There is a lot to do and also the SALB is perfect for kids as well. We spend most afternoons there to relax and cool off. It's also a great place to leave my husband and kids for an afternoon of swimming while I go shopping.

There is a small patio, but we rarely use it.
