Anyone stayed at a studio at the BCV? How big are the rooms? What type of views? Do they have a balcony?

Or is it worth to pay the extra to stay in a villa??

If you need a microwave and toaster then yes it is. Personally I don't feel as though the villa studio is worth the extra money other than that. 1 and 2BR villas are another story.

Depends on how many are traveling. We actually enjoy the studios. The one bedroom villas are nice tho. I don't think you will find a huge difference in views depending on the room size tho. You could have a studio with a terrific view and a one bedroom with a not so terrific view. We like to save points and stay in a studio since we don't do a lot of cooking. The micro and toaster work great for us. Yes, I love having the washer/dryer in my villa but it usually doesn't take long to go down to the communal one.

While I can't say exactly how large the rooms are at BCV, since we haven't stayed there yet, I can tell you the studios at BWV are about the same size as a regular deluxe room. They feel spacious tho since you have the sofa bed rather than another queen size bed. And the vanity area across from the kitchenette area opens things up. As far as a balcony goes, I believe that most rooms have either a balcony or a patio. They may be different sizes tho. I wouldn't plan on having a cocktail party on one!!!!

If I request a pool view- do you normally get this... and can you see the lake. Not to be picky or anything!

You can request a pool view (the private pool - not SAB) or an Epcot view. (I prefer pool view.) Epcot views are only good if you get a high room, but they also overlook a road.

No lake views.

All roms at BCV have either a balcony or patio. The balconies vary quite a bit in size from just big enough for a table and two chairs to those that span the width of the room(s).

You should check out the Disney Vacation Club Forum here on the DIS. There is a lot of info about the villas, and even a Rent/Treade section, perhaps you could rent points, its cheaper than cash.
