The studios have regular drip coffee makers. Flat-bottom baskets like a Mr. Coffee. Some are only 4 cups but if you get a small one and want a larger 10-12 cup coffee maker, just call housekeeping.Hello Everyone,
Can anyone tell me what type of coffee maker is in a beach club villa studio room?
Can an adult sleep on the bunk size bed or is it more for a child?
Thank you in advance!
Well, maybe call housekeeping if you want a 10-12 cup size. We did that once, in 2018, and yes housekeeping came promptly with a coffee maker, but it was a 4 cup size. They said that there weren't any large ones available, but perhaps we could use both small ones. However, since then, there's always been a 10-12 cup size in the studio. The studios have regular drip coffee makers. Flat-bottom baskets like a Mr. Coffee. The pull-down bed is smaller than a regular bunk bed. About 2" shorter in length and about 6" more narrow. Most adults under 5' 7" will be fine with the length. It's the narrow width that makes it uncomfortable for many adults. You really cannot roll over easily.
I wonder why they don’t put Keurigs in the Villas? Strange..The studios have regular drip coffee makers. Flat-bottom baskets like a Mr. Coffee. Some are only 4 cups but if you get a small one and want a larger 10-12 cup coffee maker, just call housekeeping.

I’m not sure. I am thankful that they are not in all of the villas however as one member of our group has to have a certain kind of coffee and it is easier to pack a bag of coffee than a box of kcups. We used to order the coffee with our grocery delivery order but they were out of stock one trip and things did not go well without the right kind of coffee lolI wonder why they don’t put Keurigs in the Villas? Because for a unit that sleeps up to 10 people, making coffee one at a time is a nuisance. Keurigs also are more difficult to clean and prone to mold.I wonder why they don’t put Keurigs in the Villas? Strange..
Some of the villas, such as GV, are beginning to have the combination machines that can both drip coffee and use Keurig pods.I wonder why they don’t put Keurigs in the Villas? Strange..
Is it that bat poop coffee?I’m not sure. Lol no it’s just Starbucks Sumatra dark roast which we can usually get from Publix but ever since that one trip we just bring it with us!!Is it that bat poop coffee?
Is that Cape May?Stinks.
I'm hoping that they will at least add the murphy beds and maybe "spruce them up" a little soon! They were pretty sad already a few years ago and unfortunately not all guests treat it with care ! Not speaking just for BCV -but for all DVC, with the dues we pay,our rooms should be cared for in maintenance and basic housekeeping just as well as the cash side ( which Disney rents out some of the time for cash sometimes anyway!)We’re here now and indeed it’s a drop coffee pot.
We have a short adult sleeping in the pull down trundle and she said it’s been great and comfortable. She is only about 5’3” so I think it works for her but the width is indeed on the narrower side.
Also, and unrelated, these studios in need of some serious love. They are dinged up everywhere you look, half of the outlets don’t work, and are just really showing their age. Stinks.
