Can anyone help me. We will be at BCV in 3 weeks. This is my first time staying here and I was wondering if there is a good room request to make for a 1br where maybe we could see Epcot or Illuminations from our balcony? Higher floor? End of hallway? Epcot view? Also is this a quiet/private area? Any help would be appreciated. I am not familiar with this resort so I have no idea where to start.

Your only problem is that there is no Epcot view to request. You can request a pool view or garden view or woods view, but that is pretty much it. If you request woods view, you might get the Epcot view where you can see Illuminations. But you might also get the woods view where you can hear the booms, but not see anything of Epcot or get noise from the road.

The last few times we booked at BCV, we requested no view at all and we were fine.

The BCV is behind the BC, so you don't get any of the noise of the BC/YC or Stormalong Bay.

About the only thing you could request is woods view upper floor, preferably 4th or 5th floors. They no longer recognize "epcot view".
When you check in try to get one of these room numbers if available, 320, 329, 420, 429 or 529, you could even have them listed with your request, doesn't mean you'll get one but it won't hurt. A few others that will have limited Illumination views are 357, 365, 457, 465, and 557, they are along the road so might not be as quiet.
Most here will say don't list room numbers but I have a pretty good success rate doing so. I have stayed there about 30 times and know exactly what each rooms view is.
You won't see much of Epcot and will only see the high fireworks above the trees. You would be better off walking to the bridge to BW ( 5 min) and watching from there, just get there about 15 min early to get a good spot.

Enjoy you stay, I'll be back there in Aug. and at OKW in 3 weeks.

Thank you both so much. I will put in for a woods view and request the rooms that you suggested on a high floor. I am looking more for a quiet balcony spot since as you stated we can walk to the bridge. Plus we have a hopper pass but I like to sit on the balcony with a drink and watch the fireworks. No big deal if we can't but it would be nice. I guess I got a little spoiled with my BLT MK view. :goodvibes

What's nice about BCV is you can leave the villas at 8:50PM, wander over to Epcot (the bridge between Great Britain and France is a good spot) and watch Illuminations (if you have a hopper). Then you'll be back in your villa by 9:25PM.

BCV is a popular resort but it isn't known for it's views. If you do get on the Epcot side of the building, you will be above a road and the service area.

That's not true, I can give you loads of rooms on the Epcot side of the building that are not above the road or service area.
