Beach Club Transportation Questions

Even though the BC is seems to be a wonderful resort, I've heard of some problems with regards to the bus transportation since it stops at several other hotels before getting to BC. I've heard of a few horror stories of guests who got up at the crack of dawn in order to take advantage of EE only to find that when the bus arrived, it was full. That's unacceptable in my opinion for a resort like BC and the price we're paying to stay there. I'd like to know if there are some alternatives. I understand that Epcot is within walking distance, but I've heard that the walk can be long depending on where your room is located. Anyway, here are my questions:

1. If we decide not to walk to Epcot, would it better to take the boat instead of the bus even if it takes longer to get there?

2. How early do the boats start running?

3. From what I understand, the Boardwalk is across the lake; can you take a boat there or is it better to walk?

3. Is there a trick to being able to make it on time to EE at MK while taking the bus?

4. Would it be better to walk to Epcot and catch the monorail to MK on EE days?

5. I know this is a non-transportation question but, what is the best time of day to eat at Beaches and Cream to avoid at least some of the crowd?

There is no bus to Epcot. The boat is the only way. From the Beach Club it's a very short walk to Epcot, and would be much faster.

Friendship Cruisers run one hour prior to park opening until one hour after park closes.

You can do either. It depends on how you catch the boat and where you are at the BC, but chances are walking will be quicker.

Yes. Understand that you are not the only person going to the MK, and that our demand based dispatching system isn't instantaneous. Most likely, you will not experience any problems at the Beach Club. However, it is very well possible that the bus stop will be crowded. As such, there is a chance that you might have to stand. There's also that small chance that the bus will fill up. Unfortunetly, we have yet to uncover the secret of Clown Cars, so our buses do have capacities. In the meantime, if in the situation you do get left behind, another bus will be on their way. However, like I said before, its not instantaneous, but will be there shortly.

Most definetly not. In fact, you wouldn't be able to. Epcot wouldn't be open to walk through. And even if it were, it's not a feasible plan.

Thanks for your response Tyler. My husband has health problems so there may be days we need to take transportation even to places that are within walking distance, especially with all the walking we'll be doing at the parks.
