I was wondering what the best way to get to Poly from Beach Club. We will be dining at O Hana. If we go to Magic Kingdom by bus then Monorail to Poly...we we need to go into the park to make the transfer to Monorail?? We will not be doing any parks that day.

Bus to MK, mono to Poly is best way to go. There is no need to go into the park to go from the bus stop to the monorail station.

The monorail stop in the MK is not inside the park (unlike Disneyland) - it's to the left, down towards the lake as you walk from the bus stops towards the MK entrance. So bus to MK, then walk over to the resort monorail ramp (there's also an express monorail ramp - which you could use, but it's more walking) and ride to the Poly. There is also a boat that goes from the front of MK to the Poly which you can take. To get back to the Beach club just reverse the process.

Taxi. For $20 you do away with having to go here first, and go there second, finally to where you want to be. Save yourself the hassle and grab a taxi.

Besides the hassle Disney recommends allowing 90 minutes to get from point A to point B using their transportation. A taxi will only take about 20 minutes, if that.

DF and I got our engagement pictures taken when we went in December. We were staying at the Poly and needed to get to the Beach Club to enter Epcot through the international gateway. We had to be at BC at 745, so Disney transportation wasn't running yet.

We took a taxi. It was easy and really quick. There were a few taxis waiting out front. One of the valet people called one, we got in and in about 15 minutes we were at the BC. It cost about $14.

If I was you i would go to the Ticket and transportation center, and walk to the poly.It is a scenic walk and won't take long. When you arrive at TTC go left, it may be a 5 minwalk from there.

Just curious, how would one get to the TTC as the resort buses don't go there.

We always take a taxi while traveling resort to resort. 90+ minutes travel time is a lot of time wasted in my opinion when I could be enjoying myself else where.

Well, you could take the Friendship launch from the BC/YC to DHS and from there take the bus to the MK because it goes to the TTC. However, in this case I would just catch the bus from DHS to the Poly.

As other posters have said, I would take the bus from the BC to the MK. As you walk towards the monorail station, you'll pass the resort launch dock. There is one to Fort Wilderness/WL and another to the Poly and Grand Floridian. If the launch is there you can board it. It will stop at the GF first then go to the Poly. If the launch isn't there or the line is long you can continue on to the monorail station.

If time is critical, the taxi is fastest.

The cost of a taxi is worth the convenience! We stayed at BWV this summer and had reservations in MK for dinner.

We took a taxi to CR and then walked over--again, less than $20 but only took 15 minutes to get between the resorts. Very easy to do.

And, with the Poly--it will drop you off right out front!!

For us you hit the nail on the head. We include the taxi money in our budget.
