What's the easiest way to get from the Beach Club to Fort Wilderness? I was thinking take the bus to MK and then go to Fort Wilderness from there? Also, we have ressies for the 7:15 HDDR, what time should we leave the Beach Club to make sure we get there in time? Thanks!

I would definately take a bus to MK then the boat to Ft. Wilderness.

If you take a bus to Ft. Wilderness, say from DHS, you'd get dropped off at the Reception Outpost where you would have to take an internal Ft. Wilderness bus. The boat, on the other hand, drops you off very close to HDDR.

To be safe, I'd leave BC no later than 5:30. If you get to FTW early, then wander around the camp ground. We love FTW.

FWIW the easiest and fastest way would be by taxi, albeit at a cost of $20-$25, but you will be at the FW outpost in 10 to 15 minutes at most. Allow 60-90 minutes min by any other means of transportation.

Skelooch neglected to mention that once the taxi drops you at the Outpost, you still have to wait for and take a bus to the Settlement. Allow an additional 20 minutes.

90 minutes is the officially recommended travel allowance on WDW transportation, especially when a transfer is involved. That includes padding for a full bus or boat, wheelchair loading delays, etc.

5:30 is a reasonable departure time, for that extra peace of mind.

I didn't neglect to mention that you still have to wait for an internal bus, I purposely didn't mention it because you have to wait for the internal bus to the settlement area regardless of what type of ground transportation you use. I was simply trying to point out that a taxi will get you to that point in 10-15.
I'm sure you'll agree using a taxi will get you there far quicker than any other form of pubic transportation.

I think when you take a bus from any resort to the Magic Kingdom, then the boat to Fort Wilderness, you can walk to Pioneer Hall from the dock. No additional bus necessary.

As Katie said.

I would agree that a taxi and internal bus would be fastest, but you compared 10-15 to 60-90, which was incorrect. A person could have inferred that the they would be at HDD in 10-15 minutes.
