We have 9:50 reservations at Cape May Cafe at Beach Club Resort. Can we walk easily to Disney's Boardwalk? If so, is it worth checking out that early in the day?

We are coming in town Saturday and debating on going to the BoardWalk or Springs when we get in town. We will do the other the next day, after breakfast at Cape May Cafe on Sunday.

1. Yes. Very easy.
There are also Friendship boats that hop directly between those resorts.

2. If you like.

There really isn't anything going on during the day on the Boardwalk. An exception might be at Christmas when you might want to check out the lobby decorations. At night there are performers.

What kind of performers at night? Are there boardwalk-type games, too?
thanks!
There is a Magician and a juggler who take turns putting on their performances. There are some typical games like throwing a ball in the basketball hoop. I can't remember what else they have.

That's true, but if you've never been there, I would definitely stroll over and check the place out. Just walking through the lobby, gift shop, and the boardwalk area itself is worth the visit. We love visiting all the different Disney hotels.

Thanks! We will be there a couple weeks before Christmas so maybe that'll be nice!

If you think it'll be awesome.....you will be disappointed

If you think it's gonna be lame....you will be pleasantly surprised.

It's basically a nice walk around the lake with a few restaurants around. But you could have a very similar experience walking around 7 seas lagoon at Poly. A nice walk around a lake is pretty much the same everywhere.

There are no games. There are only 1 or 2 kiosks that sell drinks. It's almost entirely just restaurants that line the boardwalk.

Sounds like we will take a super lame stroll after breakfast :)

Don't just walk around the outside. Go into the hotel. Explore the lobby. There is some neat stuff in there. Check out the gift shop. Look at the pool area. Suck in the atmosphere. And since you'll be there at Christmas time, the decorations will be up so you'll get to see those.

There are games in the evening. Not sure if all of the kiosks are open during the day.

You will not see the games or entertainment that early in the morning, but it's still a lovely stroll. BWI has a lovely gift shop and the lobby is really nice, too. Lots of turn-of-the-century Boardwalk memorabilia.

Great atmosphere for a corndog or pizza lunch or a bakery breakfast in the daytime. We love to sit on the BW and people watch, watch the boats, etc. It's also a nice wide area with good sight lines where you can sort of let the kids have some free reign and stretch their legs. It's a lovely walk at any hour.
