if I am at Beach Club, what time do I need to leave to make it to a 4:15 reservation at Coral Reef restaurant

The walk should take about 20 minutes so assuming you want to be safe and arrive a few minutes early for your reservation I'd leave around 3:30

As the previous post mentioned, Coral Reef is a short walk from hotel to restaurant. If walking is going to be a challenge there is a boat that will run from the resort to the International Gateway at Epcot. Walking should take 15-20 minutes. The boat could add more time and would plan 45 minutes for that. But if you have the choice between boat or foot I would choose foot, it is easier and quicker.

In many (most?) instances it is faster/shorter to just walk directly from BC to International Gateway. The boat dock is actually over at the Yacht Club. From there the boat then stops at Boardwalk before it gets to the International Gateway.

You are correct in most cases it is longer to take the boat... I did mention that in my post. However, you are correct and I didn't mention, the boat launch is about 100 yards further from the BC and adds about 1 minute to the walk than from the YC. However, it is not longer to walk from the BC to the boat dock than it is to walk from the BC to Coral Reef. One will need to walk from the resort to International Gateway and then walk from that location between United Kingdom and France in the WSC and into Future World... To me that is a longer walk. But again I do agree with you, it is much easier and quicker to walk from the resort over to Coral Reef than it is to take the boat. :)

Goofy,
Just wanted to comment on your great achievement on WW. I am a member as well and think it is a great program. I am down 72 pounds since last September.

I guess I'm confused even more now. If a person took the boat from the YC dock they would wind up at the International Gateway and still have to walk "from that location between United Kingdom and France in the WSC and into Future World." The boat is only an alternative way of getting from BC to International Gateway.

Awesome job on your loss of 72 pounds. You should be proud of the accomplishment. :thumbsup2

There are two ways to get to Epcot from the YC/BC/BW/Swan-Dolphin. The first option and IMHO along with yours, is to walk over to the International Gateway and into Epcot. The other way is to take the boat over to International Gateway and into Epcot. For me, I don't take the boat at all either to Epcot or over to DHS; I prefer the walk. It's healthier, gives me another reason to get more exercise and I also think it's much quicker than the boat. :goodvibes

The best and fastest way to get from the BC to the International Gateway is to walk. Some of the rooms at the BC are only a five minute walk to the International Gateway. In fact, there is really no reason to take the boat to Epcot from the BC. It is longer no matter how you slice it, IMO.

From the International Gateway it is another ten minutes or so to Coral Reef. :)
