Beach Club Suites?

I'm thinking of booking a 1 BR suite at the BC. Does anyone know the quality of these rooms? Some reviews say the BC rooms are worn and tired and due for refurb. Some reference has been made saying the BC rooms, not villas, have recently been refurbed. Are the suites only offered as Club Level? Any feedback is appreciated.

Hi .i have a 1 BR suite booked this Oct at BC and as far as i understand all the room renovations should be finished by the end of this month, I am staying CL and i think all the suites are club level..

Thank you mrs. Moon. I think the suites look fabulous and it was what I was leaning toward. Unfortunately, I've pretty much finalized our travel dates so that my DD won't miss too much school. Would you know it, no suites available ....ugh! So frustrating. My search for the right place continues.

As mrs. moon replied, to my knowledge all of the suites (except maybe the first floor ones) have been renovated within the past year. The entire BC rehab should be complete by the end of this month.

We have lots of information and pictures about the Beach Club Resort on the Beach and Yacht Club FAQ in the Resorts-Photo and Community subforum, including some links to pictures and information about the Deluxe Rooms and Suites (Post 12). But I agree that there is not nearly enough info on these rooms here. I welcome any info and pictures from guests who have stayed there and are willing to share their experiences.

Have you considered booking a deluxe room? They have extra space & if you get one with a patio or large balcony, its pretty much suite-ish.
The Boardwalk deluxe room is even more spacious & really is like a suite, with a large separate sitting area. It does not close off from the sleeping area, but is bigger than the Beach Club deluxe. The cottage suites at Boardwalk are 2 story with the bedroom upstairs & the living area down. They are also very spacious, but now only allow 2 people. All the deluxe rooms are club level.
