Beach Club Studio-Pullout Sofa..size?

Hi there..my family will be at BCV in a studio from 7/21-7/28.......it will be myself, my DH and 2 boys...ages 12 & 7.....

Will they be ok in the sofabed? They are both average height and weight..but not sure the size of the pullout sofa?

Should I bring an aerobed? Is there room for it? Will they provide extra sheets/blanket/pillow?

The sleeper sofa in a studio is double sized. The cushions are not removable from the sofa and flip under the bed when it is opened.

Disney will not provide any additional linens for your aerobed. It might fit by the bathroom sink area, but with the sleeper sofa opened up, that will be the only space left. It gets pretty crowded with the sleeper opened.

As already stated, the sleeper sofa is a double bed size. My kids (12,9) shared one the last two years. It's not ideal by any standards, but it will work. At least these new sofa beds are pretty comfortable.

I am sorry to hijack this thread but I have been away from the Dis for about 2 months with maybe a "peak" once or twice. I see mamiamjo mentioned the new sofa beds. Are they in all the rooms at the BCV now?
Sorry if this has been discussed before many times but I have not seen any recent updates. We are headed there next month and my 14 year old son would probably be happy to hear they have more comfortable sofas.

To the original OP, I think your boys should do ok on the sofa. I think everyone is so tired by the end of a day at Disney World, that sleeping should not be too difficult. Have fun!!

We had a newer sleeper sofa in our BCV one bedroom in June.

My two children slept on the pull-out sofa sleeper in a BC studio villa this Feb. My daughter is 11 years and my son is 8 years. They are both average size and they fit absolutely perfect. Neither of them complained of being too cramped. They even fit a bunch of stuffed friends in the sleeper sofa with them each night! The sleeper sofa did have a new mattress on it.

I always have a pullout sofa issue even in a 1 bedroom because my DD is almost 15 and my DS is almost 12. Me and DD take the bedroom and My DH and DS always take the pullout. They sleep on it together just fine.

Are there ANY BCV studios with 2 Queen beds rather than a bed and sofa.

Agreed, we tried an Aero Bed in the 2 BR with the Sofa out... it was a pain... worse off was the person in the Aero bed was my 24 year old younger sister who is still in the "I can sleep till Noon" part of her life, so getting around her in the AM was a pain. I was at the point where I wished I just had gotten 3 studios instead and not had my whirlpool bath, King Bed and Washer Dryer (the kitchen was seldom used)

Nope...none of the DVC studios have 2 beds except OKW, where all the studios have 2 queens but no sofa
