We are sooo excited to be going "home" in 8 days and our 1st stay at BCV. Originally I had requested non smoking since my son has asthma...before all resorts went non smoking......adn then a pool view.

I just called to see about getting an Epcot view...and according to DVC there is no true Epcot view...however from pixs I have seen there are views of Epcot.....

Any way to request this or is it just potluck?

I think you can request woods view for a better shot at seeing EPCOT.

Just be aware, that those units are also very close to the road. We had a nice view of EPCOT last saturday, but it was noisy with all the traffic below.

I have photo's of our view from room 555 (studio)

We always request Pool View to be on the other side of the BCV's.
I didnt request anything this time, as I booked this room same day thru MS and it was a Saturday night. So getting the view of EPCOT was a bonus, plus we checked in after 5pm! It was only for a night.

Thank you so much. I know you had a studio...did you have the newer sofa bed? This is our first time in a studio...what size was the fridge...any photos?

Here are the staerooms I requested that I found out had good views.

231, 227, 222, 422

All of them are woods view, BUT I ended up with a view of Valet Parking so it was no help.:sad1:

You are welcome:wizard:

We had the new sofa bed.

NRCPS style:lmao: sofa bed (Non Removeable Cushion Pillow Storage...see bed thread:goodvibes ) in our studio, which is the newest version of the sofa bed.
The fridge is the standard dorm size fridge.
I didnt take any photos of the room, as soon as we walked in, Dh and the boys had it completely lived in princess:

My absolute favorite, of the 6 different studios I've had, is #422. I'm so glad to see it listed. The only drawback to that one may be that it has a solid wood balcony railing with the top 18 inches or so open. Here are some photos-

Thanks to everyone for feedback....can you request an actual room #?

Also..not understanding the NRCPS comment....any explanations???

Most of the Epcot views overlook the road. I would hate to overlook the road to be able to see the top of the Epcot ball, the top of the Eiffel Tower and the top of some of the other higher stuff and the higher fireworks from IllumiNations if I was going to be in the room when IllumiNaitons took place.

I like the pool view & the wooded view there.

I agree with DisneyDoll. We had Epcot view in June but the road was so busy that I will definitely request pool view next time...

I guess the Epcot view is now called the "woods" or "garden" view. We stayed in a studio villa #261 in Feb. and got to see Illuminations from Epcot every night at 9 p.m. (when we were in the studio that is). Here are some pictures of our balcony and view.

NRCPS (Non-Removable Cushion Pillow Storage) like LIFERBABE mentioned basically means that you do not have to pull the seat cushions off of the new sofa beds to open it up. They stay attached and actually face the ground (under the bed) when it is folded out. They are really comfortable.

Hope that helps. :goodvibes

Having had both views, I definitely prefer the pool view. After my first DVC trip I learned not to get too hung up on getting a certain room or view. Have a great trip!:wizard:
