Beach club studio 7 months out in May?

For the first weekend in May (Fri-mon)? Doable? We don't usually travel outside of fall so I'm clueless if this is realistic or not.

I was going to just book AKV to avoid borrowing points but I think for such a short trip, it will be nice to be close to a park. We always stay at BLT so I was trying to branch out (don't tell my kid that though. She loves blt!)

Years ago, I did that a lot. So it was possible.

This year I had to waitlist a 2 night mid week studio stay for the week before last, but the nights came through for my friends!

We have stayed at BCV in studios the last two Mays booking at the 7 month window. I think we might have waitlisted some nights (can't remember), but they all came through!

It use to be easier a few years ago, but it's getting harder to do now. Have a backup plan. Heck, I couldn't even get my BWV standard studio in October at the 11 month window at 8:01am. I did manage to get it by booking the next day and waitlisting for the first. It's just getting harder to book now.
